Their professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor truly stood out. I was assisted promptly and efficiently with all my banking needs. I've been a member since 1991 when it was only for mass electric employees, retirees and families of. Although I accept that THOSE good old days are LONG gone, when loyalty and history counted for something, but to see what it has morphed into today, it's not even really a credit union, it feels more like a big bank without the ounce of personal care..... I've had some BIG disappointments from Central One and it's time to close out and move on........ refusing you access to your own money, that has already cleared all waiting and pending periods...... it's happened so many times. But twice in the last six months is it for me....... Take your chances with these guys, and if u don't know someone who works here, expect your voice to call on deaf ears. Instead of the charm of a small credit union, this place has the heart of a big bank and they loyalty of your ex mother in law !!!!!!

Absolutely horrible bank and staff. New issue every time I go here I will be closing all my accounts and taking my business to a new bank. If you call to speak with some one they don't care about your issue or care to find a way to resolve it UPDATE Shrewsbury branch resolved the issue finnaly. How ever my bad review still stands for auburn branch.

Relatively new member, but have loved everything so far! They have everything a "big bank" has but also great service and friendly employees, extra offerings like a coin counter and safe deposit boxes. It truly feels like they value each and every member and you are not just another customer.

This credit union has changed for the worse since I joined them in the 1960s when they were the smaller Mass Electric Credit Union. My parents were two of the first members back when my dad worked for Mass Electric. After I payed off a Central One credit card balance last August, they added a $13 finance charge, unbeknownst to me, because I never got a bill. 2 months later I found out by chance I owed it when I happened to go online to my Central One account. By then, Central One had added 2 late fee charges, and worse, reported me to the credit bureaus, which has caused my credit rating to drop from Excellent to Good. I immediately payed off the finance charge and late fees in October when I realized on my own that I owed them. I talked to a man in Central One's credit dept. in December who said he would correct the problem for me with the credit bureaus, but he apparently never has. A 30-day late payment for a charge I never received a bill for remains on my credit reports, and my credit rating continues to be adversely affected by this. I have closed my Central One acct. after some 55 years.

This bank is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. I deposited a payroll check and then they put a hold on my check. When I called customer service they told me it would be atleast a week before my funds are available from my payroll check. First thing Monday morning I will be closing my accounts and be done with this bank.

Everyone is freindly and always willing to help and they care about there members
