I was in the self check out lane when a cashier approached me and told me to stop scanning my items. She called over her manager and stated that I had over 15 items in my cart. I had 19 items in my cart and I will note that there was no body behind me. The manager said you have to go to a cashier. I told her I could split the transaction in to two. There still was nobody behind me waiting in line. The manager got extremely impatient and grab the cart out of my hand and walked away. As she is walking away she says “ to bad now I have to put all your stuff back.” At that point she wouldn’t even let me go to a regular cashier. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I also think the managers actions may have been racially motivated. I am Jewish and cover my hair and wear a Star of David pendant. The second she noticed the pendant she became extremely aggressive and condescending. The managers job was to diffuse the situation, she only exacerbated it and made a scene leaving the other shoppers to gawk at me. I have been a member at this bjs for 6 years and this is the last time I shop there. The manager became so aggressive over something as little as 4 items over. If this is how bjs employees treat their shopper then I won’t be coming back. As for the store manager maybe try hiring a manager that had social skills and manners because the manager I dealt with clearly lacked those.

I forgot my wallet with everything, cash, cards, checks and docs in the shopping cart at BJ(Auburn, MA), I didn't notice for a while and trying hard not to panic, I called and described my wallet and they said, yes, is here. So, a huge thank you to Calista(who founded) and Tyler Hobson that gave back to me and didn't accept any cash for it. I made sure to share that in every social media, because what's good need to be shared.

Sad that BJs allows AT&T to operate in their store. Was lied to by a sales rep in a fraud for commission scheme. They misrepresented the monthly payments and monthly phone credits, and now I'm stuck with a 36 month contract paying way more than I was prior to switching. Not even talking about all the hidden fees and surcharges, I mean the plan itself, and other programs they enrolled me without my consent or knowledge. This has been the absolute worst customer experience in my life.

Been a member since the 80s in RI. I am letting it go this year. There were only a few reasons why we remained customers. They are gone. One by one they discontinued readily used products. I am so sick of products being discontinued without viable replacements. Plus, they sell a lot of food past or very close to expiration date! Over the years it has turned into a awful, awful company.......

I LOVE BJ'S! Literally CANNOT beat the prices. Snacks, meats, and toiletries are my go-to's when I come here. I am recently gluten-free and their selection of Gluten-Free products are really good for a wholesale place! I am always highly satisfied with them, and their staff.

It's got your typical BJs items but I agree with the other reviewer in that I do not appreciate being accosted by aggressive AT&T phone salesmen when just trying to do some shopping. Also, the women's bathroom was very filthy- they do not do a good job of cleaning this.

Very upset. bought an online order of 4 chairs. one was broken. asked to replace it and was told I could not. I would have to pay full price as it was no longer on sale. been trying to get in touch with corportate and I have been blocked by customer service from having contact. they keep saying they will escalate the issue. I have a chain of emails over the last three weeks trying to problem solve this. I ended up having to actually return the chair to the store myself. would not recommend buying on line furniture

Very disappointed to buy a bucket of cookies and find them extremely stale--rock hard! Also had to wait an hour to pick up my glasses at the optical center due to an unscheduled lunch break. They really should schedule that hour into the optical center hours, so people know about it. Instead I came 20 minutes and found out I had to wait.

I went there on superbowl Sunday to pick up a few things and left the store after spending $150 for just a few items.Nothing special, just some long-term every day stuff for the house.

Typical lazy workers in Tire bay and America in general. Had an appointment scheduled, tires didn't arrive got rescheduled another day and come to find out after waiting 20min they couldn't change the tires due to my vans weight which is b.s since I used to work in mechanics and can lift those vans with ease and finish all 4x tires within 30mins. Oh not to mention one of the guys hiding in the bay eating. Go figure...should of just went to townfair tires which was my first option. Instead of dealing with lazy amateurs.
