Prices in this Market for the most part are absolutely ludacris,....more like insane in my opinion,...there are MAYBE,....10 % of the items in the store that have the disguise of being g reasonable if even fairly cheap, ..and with most of the MUST Have Items that people need in their everyday shopping, etc....most of those items are through the ROOF!$17.69 !!! for an (average) size plastic container of ground Maxwell House Coffee,....small compared to many of the other cans / brands sizing.And it seems they are capitalizing Goff of the FACT that there are not many places at all to get most of your market type groceries within at least 2 or 3 Miles,....and many of the shoppers on this area are pretty much renters,....and many even low income without cars . And essentially have to shop for at least many of there day to day items.So yea,.....I'm hard pressed to say anything g negative about any business unless there is some legit and or significant issues. However ,....I am on board with a straight up boycott or strike or whatever it took to get these people off their delusional ideas of what their pricing should be for most of the items,....and if price gouging were to be a serious thing -and I actually thought that it was - this Supermarket Chain needs to be reviewed by someone! Lol! My Opinion,...if you can, ..."Shop Elsewhere if you can of course I know it's hard to if you don't have a vehichle !!!....Marketbasket is in line with the needs and pocket books OR wallets of any family that is without a doubt struggling these days in many areas, The owners of this chain are insane!.God bless!

Shopping has become such a burden amidst the pandemic between inflation and traffic in my area. I stopped into Seabra (Formally Hi-Lo/Almacs) on a whim and ended up being one of the more enjoyable shopping experiences that I've had in a long time. The store is nestled into the back roads of Attleboro, in a plaza that seems frozen in the 1990s. They have ample parking and the store is also accessible by foot which is a nice feature for local residents. It's not as fancy as other nearby markets but it's clean, well lit, and organized. The prices were comparable to competitors, in fact I ended up saving $30 on the entire shopping trip. This particular location also had a wine & spirits section so you can literally do one stop shopping and avoid multiple trips. Lastly, every employee I encountered was pleasant and prompt. The other customers were also friendly and polite to each other. I'm really glad I stopped in and I'm looking forward to utilizing them more frequently.

I've had really good luck here.If you know what you want to grab it's so much easier to get in and out of than having to navigate angry soccer moms at the shaws on the other side of town.And.... there's always a human on a register and no need for self checkout which is awesome. Makes for a super simple shopping experience.

I use to get cooked food there all the time but now a plate of Mac and cheese cost over 10 bucks. It is less money in a restaurant than to eat there food. If you put pork or beef in your fridge for one night there is a 60 percent chance it has gone bad. The fruit will go bad after a day not all but most. A lot of stuff is expired on the shelves. A lot of things are sold 2.00 dollars then all the rest of the stores.

Their freezers literally get hot and defrost the food in them, then refreeze. They have the worst fruit out there. You didn't know that was a thing? Neither did I. The only thing they have going for them is that I can walk there.

Good store, but apparently this location just makes up their own hours, if you look up the store they close at 9, came down to buy some food and was told my an employee they actually close at 8 and I have 3 minutes to get what I came for, as I was walking out I did see a paper sign on the window stating hour changes, please update online so that we don't drive to your store just to be rushed out
