I do my own car work when I can, but my driveshaft gave out before I was able to finish rebuilding the replacement. They were willing to complete the work I started, using my parts (which style shops outright refuse), and nailed the job in less than a 24hr turn around. They showed me the failure point unprompted, which I can't stand when mechanics refuse to do even when you request it. Very happy to have found them!”

They have done work at our house twice now - replacing our hot water heater last month, and most recently replacing our heating oil tank (thank you, Jack and Darren, for your work on the oil tank). Both times, the techs who arrived did a great job. They arrived on time, completed the job, and left the area they were working in very clean.”
“I’ve lived in Ashland for many years but never realized how many great local businesses there are until I made a point of doing a bit of homework and actually seeking them out. This service shop certainly seems to be one of those hidden gems. I got an oil change for my 2013 Subaru Legacy and had them check out the car in general. A Subaru dealer tried to scam me for $7000 worth of repair work, but the ASC mechanic confirmed what I felt from driving the car — everything is fine. But I do need a new set of tires and will have ASC do the work. The service manager, Bob, has been there for 30+ years. The shop does a brisk business and obviously has a regular customer base. Probably not the cheapest place to get service; but in a time when people aren’t so invested in having long term relationships with their customers, it’s great to do business with people who care.”

Went it to get a diagnostic got a call back and again was given great service. Everything was explained perfectly and prices are reasonable. My car got fixed within one day. When I picked up vehicle Santiago assisted me and he was also friendly and reviewed invoice and warranty with me. I trust this place and highly recommend.”

“I heard about your low gas prices from a friend. So now when I'm in Ashland once a week I gas up. The extra 5 cents off whenever you pay cash is great! Today I paid $2.85 a gal with the 5 cents off paying with cash.I really like the fact the cashier has the rest of the money you didn't spend on gas and receipt ready for you when you come back into the store.Thank you for being a great convenient store and gas station. “I have had many positive experiences with Exxcel! I get my inspection there annually.I’ve had breaks, oil changes, and battery replacement done there too. I believe the prices to be extremely reasonable. I don’t feel like I’m being “sold” things that I do not need. Everything is explained to me so that I know what’s up and why.I don’t live too far from the shop and they went above and beyond by bringing me back home, and picking me up, when my car was ready.
