I have been using the beef from Steady Lane Farm for years. IT is so reassuring to know that I can just drive a few miles and get meat that is reliably healthier for my body and the environment. And has more savory flavor!! So many great meals from this tasty meat!! Over many years I have gotten to know the farmers personally - they are people of great integrity unlike BigAg. That gives me piece of mind and also the feeling that I'm contributing to a change of consciousness. I recommend them without any reservations.

A local landmark and blue ribbon source for grass-fed beef! Janet and Nort are the most humane farmers and their product reflects the knowledge, concern, and energy they bring to their operation. Beef is available year-round locally (e.g. direct at the farm or Ashfield Farmer's Market, as well as Neighbors in Ashfield, and River Valley Market) and well worth the trip.
