I was treated exceptionally rudely. An older Indian man loudly asked me if I didn’t know that my letters went in the envelope like I was an idiot. I was waiting for confirmation that the address was correct. The lady with the colorful glasses is was professional, but clearly they have low standards for What they will accept in this environment

Worst post office in the area. The employees here are laughably rude. No eye contact, shout at you, don't answer questions...My parents had a PO box here and they screwed it up, and they were receiving other people's mail at their box. There's also always a LONG line....horrible. I avoid this post office and go to the one in West Acton near my job. Good riddance!

I have never had great experiences at this location, but I went there this morning to confirm my ID for a change of address, and brought my driver's license per the email from USPS (email said "Your identification must match the old address and name you provided in your COA").
I was told by the staff that I needed secondary ID with my new address, which wasn't indicated in the email at all. I tried to show them the wording in the email that said it had to match your old address, but they wouldn't budge. I went to the Watertown USPS near my work, and they told me that requiring confirmation of the new address is an outdated requirement and now, if you haven't moved yet, you only need photo ID confirming your old address. They pointed me to a form they had at the office that I could fill out and confirm within a few minutes, which the staff at the Arlington USPS didn't even mention.
Thank goodness I am moving soon and don't need to deal with this location again.

I think that it's extremely unfortunate that this post office has gotten such low ratings. I've been a customer for almost 20 years and I can honestly say that while I have had very few interaction directly with staff, there I rarely have any reason to bother a humanbeing with such a simple task as taking a letter, because this is one of the few locations in the greater Boston area that still has a 24-7-365 SELF-SERVICE KIOSK IN THE LOBBY. Anyone that chooses to go during the day to a busy post office and expects to get out of there quickly is delusional and they probably have issues with using the self-service kiosks at most grocery stores. I have never had a problem with the kiosk and I hope that this review will help others make better use of their time and reduce the burden on postal workers. GO THERE AT 7:00 P.M. THERE'S NOBODY THERE ?

I went to this USPS office, and the reagent just leave at 3:45pm. Only one reagent is working with probably a passport case, and there are still more than 10 people’s line yet.

I was crossing Court Street at the corner of Mass Ave at 5:15 (it's pitch black out), and a mail truck came bombing around the corner. He did not slow down and almost struck me! I screamed, and he kept driving on at about 25/30 miles per hour.... I was so close to being seriously injured or killed....

Seems to be a point of pride for them to provide terrible service, and belittle their customers for any means they can find, pretty consistently too. Go to the next towns over and skip these jaggoffs. The other one star reviews are worth reading.

They replaced the drive-up mailboxes out front for boxes that can only accept a single envelope. There's no public parking lot and now they added new meters (with no 15min free option). I'm literally doing their job for them - I package it, I weigh it, I print it, I drive it to them, now I have to swipe a credit card to park my car for 30seconds? It's as if they WANT to be out of business.

Got a nice scam going here now with parking enforcement - tax dollars hard at work. They swapped the old parking meters with new ones and removed the 15 min of free parking. There was 5 min left on my meter, no one in the post office line, and all I needed was a stamped envelope. 2 employees helping the only existing customer in the building and the 3rd employee occupied chewing her gum and occasionally glancing up at me. After 5 min and the line growing behind me, she finally acknowledged me and the transaction was complete in seconds. Of course as I walk out within a minute after parking expired, the parking officer pounced and had the orange ticket on my windshield. Ridiculous to have a suburban post office with no parking lot or 15 min free parking window. Only useful interactions here in years have been with the pleasant older blonde woman who works efficiently and keeps the line moving.

The staff at this USPS are usually so kind and courteous. Went in today right before closing and went to the window only to have the guy immediately yelling at me to go to the next window. I ask him not to be rude and go to the next window where he comes over and proceeds to continue yelling. The manager had to come out and intervene. Honestly really surprised and disappointed. I'm fine with returning the next day if they're closing but basic courtesy shouldn't be something lacking like this.

Cool building. I have always found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. It does get busy but they are still patient and have helped me out with problems several times.
