Pet Stores & Supplies
Unleashed by Petco
1406 Massachusetts Ave, ArlingtonBrought our dog in for a lepto 2nd dose at the vaccine clinic. It's just a small area in the back corner of the store but it was quick and efficient. They pre-medicated with benadryl for this vaccine which was appreciated and unexpected!

The Clip Joint
108 Massachusetts Ave, ArlingtonI was motivated to try the Clip Joint because I've noticed beautiful dogs all over the Cambridge / Arlington area, and whenever I ask their owners who grooms them, they always said Julie @ Clip Joint. My Bichon is 6 months old, and the first groomer we went to (not Clip Joint) charged extra for "bad behavior". I thought this was a red flag as my girl is so well behaved, even though she doesn't love being washed and trimmed she definitely tolerates it. I warned Julie of this, and she sent me the sweetest text about how well behaved she was. I was super pleased with this experience & I will be returning over and over and over again. So happy our girl is in the hands of someone we trust so well. Thank you Julie & team! (Totally blanking on her helpers name, Jordan maybe??) anyways can't wait to come back, she looks so beautiful and smells so good without it being overpowering and I can tell my girl feels so pretty too!!!!!

Pet Care
Arlington Animal Clinic
191 Broadway, ArlingtonOne of my cats is super aggressive and gets turned away at vets but the vets here did a great job at handling her with care and made us feel supported. They were able to give her vaccines and bloodwork while allowing me to distract her.

VCA City Cats Hospital
665 Massachusetts Ave, ArlingtonWe love City Cats! We've gone there for a few years now, and the staff has always been kind and helpful. We actually moved to the South Shore but still keep our appointments with City Cats, because they're that good. Dr. Palopoli and the other staff are so caring and I've always found the whole practice transparent in terms of pricing and test options. I've never felt 'taken advantage of' like I have in the past at other practices. Highly recommend :)

Sleepy Dog Veterinary
114 Massachusetts Ave, ArlingtonMy dog Blue had his first appointment with Dr. Innis today and it was absolutely wonderful. He’s only 5 and already has osteoarthritis due to a congenital health issue. I wanted to find a place that would help support him and provide treatments to keep him comfortable in the most non-invasive way possible. I was blown away by the amount of care the team at Sleepy Dog showed Blue. He’s normally so stressed at vet visits but he was so much calmer here ?. I can really tell they love animals and care about their overall wellbeing. Thank you so much Sleepy Dog Team for seeing Blue today! I’m so grateful!

Go Play
1046 Massachusetts Ave, ArlingtonOur dog LOVES Go Play! We did puppy and basic obedience courses there and she goes weekly for daycare. When they open the door for her to come in our dog runs in and doesn’t look back! Go Play was also super helpful and supportive when we were going through behavioral issues with our dog. They’re so fantastic!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
Kendall Kitchen at the Quad
10 Wilson Rd, ArlingtonLove it here, work nearby and frequently buy lunch here. 4 stars because me and my coworkers are all very disappointed with the new fries. The old ones really were the best dang fries around, and these are just sort of mediocre in comparison. We're all very sad to see the old fries go over here.
EDIT: The best fries will be back soon, so I've gone back up to 5 stars. Thank you for all you do!
