I came to Dudley Automotive Services after hearing good reviews from a friend and posts online. I went in and spoke with Ed. He listened to the concerns I had with my car (brakes were making a "nails on the chalkboard" sound) and was able to put an appointment in within the week. He was able to diagnose the problem and honestly provide a detailed explanation of the necessary fixes needed. He quoted me one price, did all of the repairs within a day (as mentioned), and I ended up paying a little less than expected in the end. Ed was very helpful, kind, and thorough. I will be returning if my car needs other repairs in the future as I know my car was in great hands!

The gentleman Ed was amazing. I was literally saying "but don't you think I need this? And instead of upselling- he down sold me- told me to wait and come back when I actually needed it. They also fixed the issue I did have for very cheap. I highly recommend this place. I got lucky that this popped up. I will be coming here from now on!!!!

I shopped around the Arlington area for a place to do a state inspection and Dudley's was the most professional and prompt. These guys have a great sense of humor/banter on top of being very proactive and detail oriented. One example of their attention to detail that impressed me was the fact that they noticed my car and plates and knew what I needed done even before I entered the shop. Dudley Automotive is the best! The ac wasn't working in my Prius during a huge heat wave and they fit me in right away. When the coolant machine wasn't working, they arranged to get it filled by another auto repair shop so I wouldn't be stranded without a car. The cost was a lot lower than I expected. Super honest and helpful!

I highly recommend Dudley Automotive Services. The mechanic was exactly what a person would want in their auto repair shop. I have an older vehicle, and he was able to fix and diagnose my brakes and my starter problem, and was professional, friendly, and the price was great. No hidden charges.Everything was stress-free.

Been bringing my cars here for many years. Ed Farrell is a capable and very straightforward business man and mechanic. I feel I never have to worry about being treated honestly in area where I lack direct knowledge. give them a try if you haven't found "your" mechanic.
