Corinna's art is incredibly unique and beautiful. The care taken to make each of her exquisite pieces is evident throughout her work, and her bubbly personality and storytelling make the experience that much better.

I am happy to write something about Corinna and her Seaweed Art. It was really a life changing experience for me. I was having a tough time and was feeling really down. A friend invited me to the Vineyard and I’m so glad that I came. We called Corinna and requested a private seaweed art making workshop at her Historic Home Seaweed Art Gallery right by the sea. I am so glad we did. It surprised me to see how it really helped to turn me around. It was so nice seeing such beautiful art. Because it was a private workshop, we had extra time with Corinna. We went down to the beach and collected our own seaweed from the ocean. The water was so cold! While we were making the art, I loved having my hands in the salt water, touching the seaweed, and making something pretty by myself. I love how it looks in the frame, and it always reminds me of Corinna when I look at it. Making the seaweed art, and being so close to nature made such a profound impact on me. It helped me realize how important it is for me to continue to connect with nature, and how doing that will help me stay healed and stay joy-full. Now, wherever I am, I remember what I learned there, and go to places in nature where I can better connect with the healing available to me.Corinna shared about her book with me when I told her that I was having a hard time. I bought it and it helped me a lot too.

Corinna Kaufman is a very well known seaweed artist on Martha’s Vineyard. She is one of the twenty-first century pioneers of this special Victorian art form called seaweed art. Every summer she opens up her home gallery to the public in the town of Aquinnah, previously Gay Head. Most of the time she is at her gallery, if she is not creating her art. You can have a most interesting conversation with her about seaweed art. Visiting her gallery will make your visit to Martha’s Vineyard a unique experience. You can purchase an affordable beautiful seaweed art piece made from exquisite seaweed only found on this Island.

When I visited Corinna Kaufman’s art gallery in Aquinnah I was blown away. The colors of the natural seaweed are absolutely amazing. The gallery has many pieces to pick from and they are very reasonable. They are all one of a kind and I purchased a set of three framed pieces of art to go into my new house. Corinna and Ken were so friendly and kind. I definitely recommend stopping by the Gallery.
