With very little regard for its customers, the Whole Foods store in Andover, Massachusetts, got rid of the small area where people could sit and grab a quick bite (photo on left) and instead replaced it with a tall table pushed against the window and in a direct way of heavy traffic of shoppers pushing their carts not only to the 2 exit doors but also to the table where people are sitting at (photo on right). The new sitting area is positioned right in between 2 large exit doors, which is extremely cold and drafty. After speaking to some of the staff that attend to the hot & cold bars about the mediocre quality and quantity of options, we were told, "Our bars are not big sellers." We replied, "Don't you think your indifference & lack of care has something to do with it?" Clearly this particular Whole Foods doesn't respect & value its customers judging by the new sitting arrangement and the very poor upkeep of its hot & cold bars. Whole Foods in Andover doesn't just take your Whole paycheck, they also serve Whole containers of disrespect.

Has anyone else noticed that products are constantly being moved from one location to the next? After shopping last week and spending 2x as long to complete my shop because I could not find anything, it occurred to me that maybe this is why there are employees buzzing through the aisles shopping for customers who are frustrated by not being able to locate items! I am shifting to another local store starting next week. So sad. I loved Whole Foods which is why I gave it 4 stars. Updating my store. It is the Andover, MA location. Not Marblehead.

Buying from this location means you will spend $10 on a bag of organic apples, bring them home, and open the bag just to find that half of them are rotten with goo on the ones that havent rotten yet. You will buy organic strawberries and blueberries for $8-$10, just to find them growing mold the very next day. Blackened, slimy kale within 2 days. Spend a little extra on gas going to lynnfield or westford, because it will save you money on the amount of organic food you buy from the Andover location, and have to throw away because it is sold rotten or close enough that it will rot before you get a chance to eat it.

The cashier’s attitude is not good. She didn’t scan my membership code twice.

Pricey, but definitely had including and far beyond what I was looking for in my visit. I liked how some product displays and coolers had labels to give you some general information on them in case you’re less familiar with their more unique offerings. It gave a sense of informed confidence on certain choices.

We like Whole Foods because it offers healthy options and since we live in Andover, we visit the branch near us pretty often. The food from their hot bar, when available, is prepared well and tasty with some exceptions here and there. It’s very disheartening that the majority of the time the hot bar is left empty with very little option. It would be nice if someone looks into that. It would also be convenient if they allow cash in at least one of their self checkout cashiers.I took these photos at around 8:45 am and as you can see the hot bar is not offering much to pick from.

Catering review: The food was not worth the price at all and would not have fed 8 people. The ham was marked $45 which means I was charged $125 for Mac and cheese for 4, green bean casserole for 4 and mashed potatoes for 4 and some glaze. The green beans were in a layer of water and looked mushy in the packaging and the fruit platter (when we opened it to eat it) had worms on it.I called to return the food (on the same day after I checked it when I got home) with the online number and was told I had to drive back to Andover (am not in the area). When I called Andover they said I could return it to any Whole Foods. I then drove to a different Whole Foods (Cambridge Street) and after 2 store members could not figure it out they got the manager Kenny. While examining the food he said "I make my own food" in my response to my statement that this would not feed 8 people and I had no idea how it all cost $170.After some research he said I had to drive it back to Andover for a refund because they do not have it in the system. After another call to the catering number I was told I would receive a refund vie email and since that has not happened I now have to spend another day driving this food back to Andover. In the end, I ended up buying an entire new order of food from the store directly on 12/23 because the catering was an absolute disaster. Luckily the store in Boston was well stocked and I bought food to make and still have the catering order sitting in my trunk for return...

What can you say about Whole Foods? It's Whole Foods! I do love that this Whole Foods has a self-service Amazon Hub dropoff. No more standing in line at Kohl's or random trips to UPS. Simply bring your item, drop it in a self seal bag, scan your QR return code to get a return sticker, slap that printed label on, drop it in the box, and viola! Returned!

Jenny went above and beyond for the floral arrangements we needed! We are greatly appreciative of the detail & care she put into her work. The florals we ordered looked wonderful and received many compliments at the party.
