This is a great shop The service is always good and the quality is excellent. They also tailor men's clothing and bridal gowns. I am not gifted with a good sense of fashion but they are thankfully. Also very patient and passionate about helping me look great.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Shaban's of Andover, a lovely tuxedo shop that is helping us out for my family's wedding. I have to say, the staff there was incredibly friendly and attentive. I want to give a special shoutout to Z, who took my measurements and went above and beyond to provide recommendations. Their expertise and dedication are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Shaban's, for taking care of us during this special occasion!

I recently visited Shaban's clothing store and was blown away by the incredible selection of men's clothing they had available. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure I found everything I was looking for.In particular, I was impressed by their collection of Jack of Spades clothing. As a fan of the brand, I was thrilled to see so many options available in-store. The quality of the clothing was exceptional, and the prices were very reasonable.Overall, I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for stylish and high-quality men's clothing. The selection is unbeatable, the staff are fantastic, and the prices are very fair. If you're a fan of Jack of Spades clothing, this is definitely the place to go!

Shaban’s is the BEST for prom dress fitting/tailoring! My daughter’s dress needed only a very slight adjustment, and Shaban’s handled it in minutes and would not even let us pay. So kind. No appointment needed, just a lovely store with lovely people in downtown Andover.

I went here because they were recommended to me from Tulle bridal for my wedding dress. They did not know what a petticoat was, that was the first red flag. I walked in knowing the dress was too small in the back and needed a corset. I also needed a cup removal. They told me they can't do that and the dress was too tight. They also were questioning why I bought this dress if it didn't fit. Shaban said, "I'm not being rude, I'm being honest" while holding my wrist. It was an uncomfortable experience as a customer. I took it to a place in Medford immediately after and they said they can do everything I need. Shaban's made me doubt my whole dress and make me think it cannot be fixed, when in reality they either don't know how to do the work or can't be bothered. I would not go if your dress cannot be zipped up and you need a corset. Very uncomfortable experience.

I am writing this in regard to my experience and work done at Shaban's shop at Andover. I went there recently to get slight alterations done to 3 Indian blouses - similar to crop tops (1 zipper adjustment, 1 blouse taken out slightly, and 1 blouse taken in and alter the back of the blouse), 1 blouse made from scratch, and one skirt's lining being taken up slightly. Shaban looked at all items, made the markings and placed the pins in the clothes and asked when we needed it by. We told him Sunday to which he said to come by on Friday so we can see if any more adjustments needed to be made to the work he had done by then. We asked for an estimate of how much it would be and he said he couldn't give us an estimate. We came on Friday and saw the clothes, except for the skirt, still needed to be fixed. He said, he'll get someone to fix them and then asked us again when we needed it by. We said Sunday and his tone completely changed from friendly to rude and loud and complained that he needed to pay someone overtime to come in on Saturday. On Saturday, we checked the blouses and they weren't perfect, but we didn't want to ask him to fix the clothes because we had to leave the state the next day. And he also appeared frustrated and not happy continue fixing them so we just took our losses and got ready to pay. Shaban brought a small slip with one amount written on it, $450.00. We were shocked as we did not expect the cost to be this high - especially since most of the alterations were made on small crop-top-type blouses. I asked him for an itemized break down as to how he came up with this amount and what amount he was charging for what item and service. His attitude turned 360 degrees and his voice was suddenly loud and rude. He shouted 'I can't give you a breakdown! That's what it is - you have to pay this amount! You should be glad I didn't charge you $650 as I had to pay someone overtime!' By this time, I just wanted to get out of the store as his behavior turned incredibly hostile. We paid and quickly left. Definitely never coming back here and not recommending anyone to come for any Indian or non-suit clothes. Which is a shame because the Indian community in Andover and North Andover could benefit from having a good tailor.
