If I could give negative stars I would. Save yourself the nightmare. Dishonest people that care more about profits then the well being of their tenants. They will not hold up their end of the lease. Any and all repairs may or may not be done. If you're lucky enough for them to repair something, likely it won't be done right the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time. However they will raise your rent yearly without doing any repairs or minimal repairs.

Absolutely horrific. They are worse than the worst of Boston. PLEASE do not rent through them. We have mice, we have alarms going off for months, we have parties until 2am every night. It’s actually like torture.

No electronic services whatsoever. No email, electronic transfer, or address aside from a PO box. I had a clerical issue that was very difficult and inconvenient to resolve as a result. Several appliances, electrical outlets, other features were not working when i moved. Maintenance took nearly a month to fix several. Staff was less than truthful about anything not in black and white.

By far the worst property management company I've experienced in Boston. NOT responsive to tenants needs, very poor quality apartments and UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE staff. Moving into one of their apartments would be a waste of every $ you spend on broken windows, terrible building maintenance and having to deal with maintenance staff walk into the apartment at any time without notice. I don't usually post reviews but I believe I'd be helping you out if you're looking at an apartment managed by Hearthstone Corporation - please DON'T DO IT!!

This is by far the WORST property management and reality company I have worked with. Their policies are abusive and absolutely disregard the privacy and interests of their tenants. The quality of work is cheap and sloppy and their associates are down right rude. I strongly recommend you avoiding renting a property they're managing or hiring them to manage your properties.
