I m really disappointed of my experience at the double tree hotel Andover. I was going in Boston Area with my 4 kids. After a 6 hours drive, we arrive late at night. The hotel is really old looking and located in an uninteresting area. First room that we got smelled like cigarettes so we asked for another room. Second room we got, there was bugs in the bed. I could not stay there with my kids so I decided to leave, I ask the guy at the reception if I would get my money and he said that in that situation, I should be able to get my money back. I looked for an hotel and finally find one at 2 am. I was supposed to stay at the Doubletree for 3 nights. I booked the first night myself so I was able to get my money back. The two other nights were prepaid by the trip organizer so they said they we’re unable to give me my money back, they said I could come back for the 2 other nights. They said that the money went straight to Hilton and that they could not do anything. Remember, I was travelling with 4 kids I didn’t have time to switch hotels with all the luggages, I was there for leisure not to lose time handling all the hotel problems. They offered me free nights in their hotel but I refused since I already had to pay for an other hotel, I just want my money back to cover the addition fees. I travel often and I will never go back to an Hilton hotel. First time, I take the time to write a review, worst experience ever.

Haven’t even stayed the night yet and we love it!Had a great experience with Vivian at the front desk! Very attentive and understanding when i decided to change my room to a balcony last minute! She was also very helpful with any questions or concerns i had!Spacious, comfortable, clean, upgraded, and well taken care of! I’m visiting from an hour away and I work with a sistering hotel owned by linchris! Wasn’t expecting much but this is better than i imagined!With housekeeping at its best in my opinion and small details like towel decor are always nice and make you feel welcomed and clean!If you’re looking for a nice little get away,This is the place to go. With the hotel being tucked away it makes you feel safe knowing you have privacy! Plus so many amenities near by!Thank you double tree for making my birthday get away a nice one to remember!Rooms: Clean, tidy, extra attention to detail, and well maintained!Nearby activities: Mall, restaurants, right off the highway!Safety: More than enough privacy!Food & drinks: Free breakfast for Hilton Members!

Shout out to Bob the engineer!! We encountered him by the pool and work out room and he was the so kind and friendly worker. He took the time to talk to our kids about the machines. Thanks Bob for making ours kids day!!!

rooms are fine, location is tucked away and nice, but if you love getting your room broken into by room service demanding you to leave after you payed for a later checkout. then this is the place for you! i gave the service 0 stars because not only did i get a walkie talkie shoved in my face no explanation, this same lady then refused to let me back into the room she barged into and saw me after my card magically stopped working after i returned from having lunch. so i walk down explain to the front desk ladies and then they proceeded to bill me for a late checkout once again on my card and stole my money. You can contact customer support but they’ll answer in 7/10 days it says, along with that it could take 30/40 days just to get a refund. Not very sure why this place decided to ruin the experience completely by being demanding and rude, but the room service being useless and invading my privacy was extremely disappointing. Communication between with room service seemed almost impossible too, i’m not sure why everytime i get told no english when i run into 6 different room service employees. Overall seems like the room service is sneaky and will try to scam you and the front desk might as well work for a tech scam company while they’re at it.

We had a 300 person event at DoubleTree Andover and it was fantastic! Kerrie and her team did a great job making sure everything was in place and Gail/Amy/Linda did a great job with the breakfast. Jose did an amazing job setting up the room. We will definitely be back!

Worn out hotel with furniture that is falling apart, torn curtains, outdated and barely working plumbing. You get the creepy motel experience for significantly more money.
