I went here in need of a tire replacement, which then turned into two when I was convinced they needed to match. Well a year later, I come to find out from my usual mechanic that he couldn't replace my other set of tires because nothing he had matched what the Gulf gave me. He then explained that the tires were a different rating than my others and it's a no-no to combine different tire ratings on the same car. Suffice it to say I was not pleased that corners were cut and best practices not followed by the Gulf, just so they could get my business.

I went there on 12/11/22 and the man working was not the typical man who I usually get gas from who is absolutely wonderful. This man that was working today was yelling and swearing at me, a young woman. He was saying things such as are you f*cking kidding me? why the f*ck isn't this full yet? Did you really drive until there was no gas left, f*cking idiot. (my empty light wasn't even on). I rolled my windows up and locked my doors due to how uncomfortable I felt. He then slammed my gas cap close and walked away with out saying anything.

This is the worst experience ever！！avoid this place，Two weeks ago, I had a flat tire, so I came to this shop, a guy named sam charged me nearly 300 dollars for a new tire, and now the new tire he installed for me blew again, I rarely drive During the past two weeks，I suspect that he installed a second-hand tire for me. i went to his store He refused to help me and bad atitude said its my problem . This is ridiculous. Three hundred dollars for two-week tire! Everyone avoid this place!

Owner Sam is rude and nasty and condesending (sp). Charged me $170 for one tire which I could have purchased for $80 at any tire store. But because I was a stranded woman with a blown out tire, he took total advantage. Never will give him one ounce of my business again. I will stick with Andover Mobil on North Main. They are wonderful to deal with. Customer service is everything especially in downtown Andover.

The person filling my tank selected premium gas without asking me, although the car runs on regular. Feels unethical.

Awful experience. I had four tires replaced at this place last year. I noticed one of the tires started leaking a couple days ago, so I drove the car there yesterday for a checkup. I thought these tires were still under warranty. Afterwards, Sam told me the air leak is not the problem of tire but sand and stone embedded in it, and charged me 50 bucks, which I had never heard of before. This morning, when I started my car, I found the problem was still unresolved. So I drove the car there again. This time Sam started giving me attitude. He repeatedly and gumpyly asked me "what is the problem " " what tire" And then he picked up inflation tube and tried to use it to resolve the problem. I left the place and would never let this guy touch my car again.

Awful experience!! I popped my tire & got a used tire from another shop but my car started pulling to the left and steering wheel started vibrating so I brought it to Sam(guy at gulf) he brought it in and told me I needed a new left arm control and it will be $300 so I did it. The problem contained and nothing has changed. I then called him and brought it back. He then tells me I need an alignment and it will be another $100 so I said okay but I hope this works! Sam said it will 100% I promise! When he called me and told me my car is ready I get there and he tells me someone is taking my car for a test drive to make sure everything is good which I was happy about. He tells me everything is good and I shouldn’t need to call him again. I get in the car and go on the highway thinking my car is fixed! NOPE! My car immediately pulls to the left and steering wheel starts shaking at 50+. I get on the phone with Sam and he says I can’t believe it we did everything! I think your gonna need two new tires(keep in mind only one tire was damaged from the flat) I think this guy is a CON and only really helps his friends and family and just will take your money! Don’t trust this guy. UPDATE: Just went to VIP and when Sam said he “balanced my tires” the back tire was 4 oz off!!! That’s way off. Don’t trust that guy! Just gonna tell you it’s fixed and take your money.

This place is amazing. Sam saw that my car had broken down, down the street. He came over and got my car jumped, got me a replacement battery all at a very reasonable price. Great place, great service, nice people
