Not enough great things to say about these people! Chris, the property manager, takes extreme pride in providing a fantastic living experience, she’s super easy to talk to and truly wants the best for you unlike many other leasing companies who just try to run up the bill. I wish I knew about these guys earlier as I would have lived here last year as well. Only thing: if you’re planning on heading into the office, make sure they know you’re coming. Since it’s a smaller office sometimes they’re not always there on the exact specified hours, but you’ll only really need to worry about that when dropping off your security deposit and such.

Excellent maintenance of the facilities. The family has great pride in its properties and it shows. They have lots of experience. They view properties as assets, and thus are not shy about investing in them. So: clean, up-to-date..and a staff that is responsive.

By far the best landlords I've encountered in six years of living in the area. The Prospect Street apartments are beautiful, maintenance is prompt and responsive, and the whole team - owners, office staff, maintenance guys, cleaners - are unfailingly pleasant and easy to work with.

I have the opportunity to live at the prospect street building in downtown Northampton. All I can say is the building is absolutely beautiful and the staff at Lincoln maintain it with love and care. The location of the building is perfect because it is very near downtown yet away from traffic and noise of Main Street. It's a short joyful walk to Capon garden down the street and the Smith campus is very nearby. Lincoln has maintained the old world charm of this early 20th century building with great moldings and original fixtures. At the same time it has a fresh and modern feel because of the attention to detail the property owner strives for. I can't say enough about the staff and how helpful they have always been throughout the leasing process and with any maintenance issues along the way.

I have had nothing but amazing experiences with Lincoln. I lived in an apartment 3/4 years in college and they are nothing but reasonable and accommodating with all of your needs! Chris, is a fantastic person as it is and is a great employee. Very easy to communicate with and always very nice conversations when entering the office. With one other year not with Lincoln, it is night and day with what Lincoln can do for you! They are awesome!

Pride of ownership is evident in this family business. I’ve worked for years as the property manager for Lincoln’s portfolio of properties in Amherst and Northampton. Going to the office everyday is something I look forward to, the team approach in all aspects of the job makes it a very intimate experience, Laurie (bookkeeper), Peter and Kathryn, each bring something different to the table. Customer service is of upmost importance and we are always striving to improve. The properties are absolutely stunning, no absentee landlord situation going on here, Kathryn and Peter are hands on and a wonderful wealth of knowledge and experience. The contractors they have compiled to work with are second to none. I’m proud to be a representative of Lincoln Real Estate, good vibes all around.

I found Lincoln real estate easy to work with and communicate with regarding any concerns. Chris and Kathryn were great. They were patient with me and helping guide me along the way. Being unfamiliar with the area and having a child, I really wanted a safe place to call home and they helped me with that goal.

The owners are very involved with their properties and set a high standard for their apartments. All the apartments are beautiful and are expected to be left clean. Unfortunately, many tenants don't respect the apartments and space as they should. I own a local cleaning business and at times Lincoln hires me to clean apartments when tenants move out. They are always extremely responsive in communication and payment. I communicate most frequently with Chris and she handles apartment turnovers and maintenance very well, making sure everything is cared for in a timely manner. It's been a pleasure doing work with them.

My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about Lincoln Real Estate. We have the pleasure of residing in one of their buildings in Northampton - the apartment is beautiful, the location is fabulous, and Lincoln is invested in the property. The apartment was immaculate when we moved in, and the few concerns we've had about the apartment have been taken care of quickly. Communication with Lincoln is a breeze (Chris, you are a rockstar!). Do not hesitate to look at properties from Lincoln.

Our basement flooded three times and our kitchen flooded twice. Each time Lincoln Real estate sent a maintenance guy who painted over leaky spots and never seemed to really fix the issue. My roommates and I lost clothes and food items due to water damage and they only took off part of our water bill to help. Then they had the audacity to charge us $800 due to scratches on the wall and barely any damage in the apartment and when we tried reasoning with them, they wouldn't budge. The most damage was caused from the flooding that was out of our control. DO NOT live at Lincoln unless you want your money taken from you and there's nothing you can do about it. My roommates and I lived in fear that our basement would flood when we weren't home and we would lose all of our things.

We too received the $600 bill and have learned that they charge everyone the same amount at move out. There is some question as to the validity of the "invoices" we were sent too, From day 1 this company has been a nightmare to work with. I am so happy my daughter no longer lives here.DO NOT LEASE FROM THIS COMPANY.
