Now you can't even talk to the pharmacy directly! When you think CVS can't sink any lower, they do!

Yesterday, I did some window shopping after visiting the pharmacy. I was immediately greeted by the store manager, a tall man with glasses, asking if I needed help finding anything, and i told him "No thanks, im just looking around."
Within two minutes, I seen a straight razor I wanted to purchase, and while looking at the package the man approached me again and said "So, we're just opening packages?" I informed the fellow that the product was opened when I picked it up, and I was trying to see if it came with more razors. I have had this happen to me before, I am treated with distrust because of the way I dress, and often I am followed or watched while shopping. I dress in street clothes, baggy, ripped pants, band ts, baggy hoodies, but it's just the way I've always dressed.
So, naturally I got upset, mumbled a few choice words, and pointed out that "I was going to buy something, but not now. That guy is too much."
But, honestly I'm sick of people like this, judging me by my appearance. Close minded individuals who see me and at first glance, judge. Always some over friendly, passive aggressive, and accusatory toned individual who works customer service. They always ask me the question, but never really seem to care if I need help. It almost feels like they are saying "You don't seem like you can afford anything here, don't steal from us. I got my eye on you."
To reiterate, I did not open anything off the shelf, and I'm tired of people like this treating people like me a certain way with no repercussions. This is the standard across the industry. Spot an individual and harass them because you don't like the way they look. I am not going back to this store. If you don't look posh, I suggest you don't shop here. Save yourself the annoyance and headache.

Sometimes the people who work in the pharmacy are incredibly polite, professional, and helpful. Other times the employees that answer the telephone are curt, sometimes hang up, and appear to be overworked.

This is the worst pharmacy. The pharmacists are rude and seem not to care about the patients. They try to find any reason not to serve you and to let you go without your medicine.

The pharmacy in the CVS on University Drive in Amherst is incredibly rude and unhelpful. My wife and I, unfortunately, need to use this pharmacy for our son's formula (he has a milk allergy and we can't get the formula he needs elsewhere). They have, on multiple occasions, miscalculated the amount of formula he should get. When we call them, they sometimes preemptively start yelling at us, as though we had been fighting with them or arbitrarily causing them trouble. I understand that their job can be frustrating, but not yelling at customers is a fairly baseline professional standard.

I work for a local doctor's office and often have to call this pharmacy to clarify/fix prescriptions. Today I spoke with Hussein in the pharmacy and he was far and away the most helpful tech/pharmacist I have ever spoken with. Not only was he very pleasant over the phone but he was very good at his job and went above and beyond to help!

the pharmacy doesn't really care about your problems. they're cold to you and don't answer your questions. not only that but their number takes forever to reach a person. y'all cannot be that busy i've been in your empty store many times. lazy and unprofessional pharmacists... probably not paid enough or something.judging by the other comments this isn't an isolated or rare experience. fix your store, jesus

I just wanted to get my prescription filled but I had to wait 2 weeks of the cvs sending messages to my doctors telling them that the order was wrong but then when I call my doctor they say that they sent the correct order and cvs pharmacy has been reading it wrong this whole time. The confusion was the amount of gel vs the amount of medication in the gel but that is a simple conversion that any pharmacist should be able to do. These pharmacists must have never taken a chemistry class because that is a simple conversion, even I could do it.

Absolutely miserable store manager. Tim was extremely unhelpful and when I attempted to ask him questions he brushed me off. Unhelpful, rude, and downright mean. I come here to try and pick up necessities but I will be changing that! Don't come here

I would give 0 stars If there's an option. The lady for prescription pick up is very rude. She sounds annoyed when I asked her questions about my prescription and shout to me when she didn't hear my questions clearly. Truly disgusting.
