Harlow & Finch is a great salon! I strongly recommend it for anyone looking for excellent service at more than reasonable prices. I've been a customer of Liz Perkins for over 10 years and she has always been professional, honest, and responsive to the needs of her clients. Rarely do I take time to write a review but my recent experience at Harlow and Fitch Needs to be shared. I have long curly hair and have struggled to find a stylist who could cut my hair well. Jessica was referred to me by my friend so I figured how bad could it be. Turned out to be the best hair cut I have ever had. Jessica is a true professional, highly skilled in her craft. She asks great questions to truly understand what you need to be happy and then works her styling magic to make it happen. Thank you Jessica...next up...hair color!!Service: Hairstyling

Jessica is a wonderful stylist. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my cuts and color! The salon is super clean and has a lovely relaxing atmosphere. I really look forward to my appointments! Highly recommend.

All right, let me break this down here. I am a *very* frugal woman who puts next to no stock in spending money on a complicated beauty regimen. HOWEVER, the *one* thing where I am very specific and demanding is my hair. To that end, I have followed Liz, who currently rents a chair at H&F to multiple salons over the course of roughly 10 years. I was delighted when she came back to Amesbury and even more excited the first time I went to Harlow & Finch. The salon itself is stylish and bright, with a very effective use of a relatively small space to feel inviting and comfortable without feeling stifling or disorganized. Jessica and Spencer are great to talk to and deliver excellent customer service from the moment any customer, even not one of theirs, enters the salon to the second they leave. Even though I do not see them specifically, I have always felt welcomed and like a valued customer. I have always been more than satisfied with the quality of service I received from Liz. She is accommodating with her schedule, communicative, and always willing to answer any questions and give professional consultation when discussing my hair. I have never left her chair feeling anything less than beautiful and her services are worth every penny. I love to see an independent business in Amesbury that provide excellent services for a reasonable price. If you are looking for a new hairdresser, I highly recommend the wonderful ladies at Harlow & Finch.

Jessica at Harlow and Finch is the best!! It took years to find a great stylist. In my quest to find the right salon, I have had sloppy work with roots after the service was done, my hair turned purple, was overcharged, was shuffled at the same time as 3 other customers, had my appointments changed on me because a wedding wanted my time slot...until I found Jessica! Jessica is extremely talented on this difficult to please blonde, does not rip you off with her very fair pricing, and gives the most amazing personal service focusing on JUST YOU while you're there. She deserves more than 5 stars!
