I cannot live without my life/saving medication. I showed up this week only to find out my medication was out back on the shelf. I was given a 2 hour time frame to come back. There was a 20 minute line after I came back in 2 hours, and when I finally got to the front they told me it would be another hour.I got in line the next day at 1:22, as the drive through closes at 1:30 for lunch. By the time I got to the window, it was 1:29 and the cvs employee was rolling down a metal screen without acknowledging that I had been waiting for this moment to get my life -saving medication for 2 days now. My 3rd time showing up, in the midst of working full time and taking care of young children. I've worked in customer service for 20 years. I have managed employees, owned businesses and worked with people my entire adult life. There is absolutely no excuse for this.

Super rude and not helpful!! Was talking with other customers while on the phone and not answering any of my questions was more concerned with what was going on around him rather than help. Not to mention I waited on hold for over 10 minutes for NOTHING. Proceeded to call another CVS got my answer right away!!

Their lines are long. There's PLENTY of staff but treat their customers like they are an inconvenience. Everyone is incompetent and they don't care about violating the Hippa law. Absolutely despise the Amesbury location. The Pharmacist DEAN KARTSOUNIS is lazy, rude, impolite, and racist and use and abuse elders. When you're sent by the ER AND YOUVE TALKED TO YOUR INSIRANCE AND THEY SAY YOU'RE covered. He makes you buy your own prescriptions and pocket the cash.Had to post one star when the whole staff deserve zero.Everyone in the pharmacy needs to be fired, and hire people who care and are kind. Why does everyone have to take lunch break at the same time. You have enough people to take intervals and separate lunch break.

I was at the Amesbury store at 1:30 on 1-23-22. I had a CVS coupon that was confusing and I asked for help. The manager (male) was instantly combative and rude and had no interest in helping me find the product or something close to it in order to satisfy the coupon. He just repeatedly told me they didn’t have it. Not true, there were several Aveeno facial creams on the shelf. He would not even try to find something that would work. He raised his voice and was instantly angry. Without provocation. There was no need for that. He should have left his home life or outside of work problems at the door. Clearly he was dealing with something. I’m sorry but there is no excuse for that kind of rude unhelpful behavior when your working in retail let alone the manager. I work with patients and would be fired for treating anyone like that. Unacceptable. Lynne

I don't usually do reviews but I had to hop on the bandwagon to say that the folks in the pharmacy were just disrespectful. I'm a very polite guy and they were clearly upset and inconvenienced when I asked where something was. Gentleman with the English accent was great but jeeeez, these people do not like where they work.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. Just as the other reviews said the staff in the pharmacy is incredibly rude and surly and unpleasant and unprofessional

I'm here watching a pharmacy tech package peoples meds with her mask under her chin, because she's scooping cream cheese into her mouth. No gloves either. Bit grim. They die fill my prescription quickly though

I usually don't mind CVS but if only they would ANSWER THE PHONE! I can't ever get through no matter what time of day! I use the app too but not all questions can be answered on the app! Time to HIRE SOME PHARMACY TECHS! Jesus! Place sucks

Don’t care about people Customers aren’t important when you are on hold over 45 mins

Their prices on everything are way too high. Maybe give shorter register tapes and use the savings to reduce prices. Extra care bucks can be valuable if used for something you need. I give them 3 stars

I have always liked CVS and I still do. However this morning with a horrible sinus infection i went to pick up my z pack. The young lady who "helped" me was so dismissive and passive aggressive that she made me feel like she was inconveniently doing me a favor. Sadly she kept glancing at my Trump T Shirt and if that's the reason she doesn't belong in customer service. I'm in retail and I would never make someone feel like they are somehow an inconvenience. Rude. I'll be switching to the competition.

I recently moved to the area and started getting my prescriptions filled at CVS on Macy St in Amesbury. Initially, it seemed fine, but, as the months went on, there seemed to be problem after problem, and my biggest concern is that very young, and very unprofessional girls, are working at the register, and on many occasions, they have been rather curt and extremely unsympathetic to an ill individual. Last summer, I was on a medication that caused my heart rate to increase very high (it was a side effect), so my doctor prescribed another medication for that side effect and the young girl waiting on me, was beyond rude to me, questioning why I was filling my prescription when it was not time (meanwhile it was written differently). I had many other incidents, so I finally decided to switch to Rite Aid and they are wonderful, caring, and most importantly very professional. When it comes to something as serious as medication, those are qualities you look for in a pharmacy. Good bye CVS, you folks need a major overhaul. And yes, the young girl with the K in her name, is very, rude.
