I came to Emilie with a floor plan, 3-D layout and appliance specs for a new kitchen and bar area, but nothing more. Working together we were able to transform my ideas into a fabulous custom kitchen and bar. Her design expertise and color sense helped to pull it all together. She was able to help me see everything as a whole to create a fully integrated space. She has a great eye for color and understands the complexity of cabinets.
We worked together to select the cabinet style, cabinet finishes, granite countertops, flooring, and hardware, not detail was overlooked.
Once the design was completed, she worked seamlessly with me and my contractors on the installation. We were working with new construction so she coordinated appliance and cabinet spacing with them prior to build out. In the end everything fit perfectly.
Finally, she is a delightful person to work with, always smiling and responses. I would certainly use her expertise in the future and highly recommend her for any project.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Emilie, owner of Carriagetown Kitchens. I REALLY needed to redo my tiny kitchen but didn’t quite know where to begin. Emilie guided me through every aspect of the planning process, recommending great resources, vendors, contractors - as well as working closely with me to create cabinet designs that would make the most of a tight space. She was so on top of every detail and always available to answer my questions. She made a daunting project totally manageable and fun! Highly, highly recommend!

Our house is very old, built in the 1700’s. And our kitchen, though functional, was last renovated by the previous owners decades ago. When we were ready to plan a renovation, I came across the Carriagetown Kitchens website and called Emilie. I knew she was the right designer for our kitchen when, in our first meeting, she put my room’s measurements into her software and created a first design while I watched. She told me about the line of cabinets that she works with, and why she stands behind them. She appreciated the historic features of our house and helped us select a cabinet style and finish that looks beautiful with our beams and brick wall. She was precise in her measurements and worked with our contractor throughout the process to ensure the installation went well. She referred us to an appliance store and salesperson, who was excellent. And she guided us through the process of selecting our counters. We love our kitchen and highly recommend Emilie for your next project.

I cannot recommend Emilie, of Carriagetown Kitchens, enough. In undertaking a full primary bathroom renovation, I searched for a cabinet that would fit into a challenging space, and one that would also provide much needed storage. Emilie, with her expertise and amazing talent, was able to provide the perfect design options. Additionally, she managed the entire process, from beginning to end, with the cabinet company, my builder, and the countertop company. My builder was impressed with and appreciative of her exact install details and drawings. Her hours of attention to each detail and amazing communication with all of us, throughout the entire process, is unequaled. The finished bathroom is gorgeous, with the highlight being the perfect cabinet from Carriagetown Kitchens.

I am so happy that I found Emilie and Carriagetown Kitchens to help me with my kitchen renovation. She was so supportive, encouraging, and full of good ideas to help me think through what would look best. Emilie offered her opinion, but was always respectful of what I liked and what I could afford. She educated me on the process and how to get what I wanted within my budget. She was able to solve any problems that came up along the way. She understands the scheduling and worked with me to coordinate all of the contractors to keep work on time. She was informative and accurate and detailed. No matter the size of your renovation, Emilie is the person you need to get your dream kitchen done!

I worked with Janine to order new hardware for our kitchen refresh, and she was so pleasant and helpful! She had great advice about our hardware options, and made the process so easy. Once ordered, our hardware was drop shipped to our home in two days!Would highly recommend Carriagetown Kitchens!

Carriagetown Kitchens was recommended to my husband and I by my contractor, Stenquist Custom Builders, Inc., who has recommended the design firm for several years to his clients. In meeting with Emilie Seuffert, owner, I found her to be extremely thorough and very easy to work with. Our project was a down to studs kitchen renovation within an antique home. Given that we wanted to maintain the integrity of the original antique home as well as keep some of the charming original features abutting the kitchen space, we wanted to work within the existing footprint, very challenging due to the size of the space. While I came prepared with a rough draft design plan, Emilie brought up suggestions/issues that I hadn't thought of and worked with me to squeeze every bit of functionality possible out of the compact design. The design choices married beautifully within the antique home while at the same time offering many modern design/layout/functional elements. Emilie was very patient and flexible and truly listened to my wants concerning the space. She was proactive in keeping us up to date regarding the design/ordering/delivery process, especially important in this "pandemic" period. She also worked closely with our contractor throughout the process to ensure there would be no issues. Delivery and installation went off without a hitch. My family is very happy with the end result and we have since contracted Carriagetown Kitchens for our next renovation project - cabinet and vanity design for our bathroom renovation Spring of 2022. We highly recommend Carriagetown Kitchens!

Emilie was recommended to us by our contractor Alex Seabolt (who also does great work by the way), and who happened to be doing a kitchen reno at the same time as ours. He used Eimilie and could not say enough good things about her. I was quickly impressed with Emilie’s breadth and depth of knowledge about all aspects of the renovation. She listened to what our tastes were and had great suggestions for cabinet design, color, countertops, hardware, etc. We also have a small footprint, and were renovating an adjacent bath, and Emilie went the extra mile to ensure we utilized the space as efficiently as possible down to inches…literally.We could not have been more satisfied with our interactions and collaboration with Emilie. She is extremely knowledgeable, organized, kept abreast of updates and next steps, and went above and beyond in terms of fulfilling our needs and making sure we got exactly what we wanted. The planning was meticulous, which coupled with Alex and his teams’ work, produced the kitchen we always dreamed of. We cannot recommend Carriagetown Kitchens enough. Thanks again Emilie!

Our small kitchen was falling apart and in dire need of a makeover. Emilie was able to create a design that was more functional and beautiful! The cabinets were very high quality and we received much needed feedback what would best fit our needs. Emilie and her assistant Megan were professional, responsive to all questions and kept us up to date , coordinating delivery dates and also coordinating countertop installation. We were very happy with the whole experience!
