“Many options to choose from. Fresh desserts and meats. A lot of great tea options, drinks, snacks, and pickled items. The cashier is so nice and helpful! Since I do not read Russian she is always helpful and gives me good recommendations.”
“Great place to find asian ingredients, especially Thai or Vietnamese. They have amazing selection of Thai snacks im not gonna lie. I even found Maggi soysauce, fermented fish sauce (mắm cá sặc, mắm cá lóc), ferrmented soybean which I usually have to go all the way to Dorchester. If you all the way the end of the first aisle, they have good instant coffee sackets too. They have basic produce products (veggies, potato, onions, poultry, Thai fresh herbs,…). The shop owner is not very good at English but he’s super friendly. If you need him to help finding anything just show him a picture. They have 10$ minimum for credit card but you can ask to add extra 0.25$ to swipe any purchase that under $10 of you dont have any cash in hand. Please support this small business I’m sad seeing their produce products gone bad because of slow customers visits.”

“Went in and needed a bag of ice. I got a phone call from my friend. The man working at the front grabbed the ice for me and rang me up all while I was on the phone. 10/10 superior customer service”
“Star Market has a lower-level parking lot in the rear (entrance near Alcorn and Ashford Streets, and exit on Gardner St). You can send your groceries down to the lower-level via a conveyor belt by asking the cashier for "Bundle Pick-Up" (drive-thru pick-up under the building). If you are entering Star Market from the lower-level parking lot, most of the time the escalators are broken. There are no signs, but there is an elevator located behind the escalators.”

“It’s my go to place for vegan food, there you can find veggies, vegan cheese, vegan snacks, frozen food. Things are good and cheap quality wise. For pasta, sauces also they have their own brand.
Overall it’s a great place to shop for groceries in your budget.”
