With all due respect: their turnaround times are just insanely slow, rendering the quality of their services irrelevant. I wish that I could rely on them as my primary cleaners because they’re right in my neighborhood, but the default turnaround time is an entire week, regardless of what you’re dropping off.

They melted the rubber buttons on my rugby. Literally the first time I took it to a cleaner. Didn’t catch it until I walked out. Check your stuff over before and after bringing it there, if you wish to risk it.

Been taking my suits here for 5yrs. Used to live down the road and now live in Medford, but go out of my way to stock up my dry cleaning and bring it down to Allston when I am in the area. They are my go-to dry cleaner. I think they do a great job.
I sometimes hear stressful stories about, at other places, dry cleaning getting lost or mixed up with others' garments. However, they are very organized at Flint and have a clear tracking system.

I've had alterations and dry cleaning done here. The pricing is egregiously expensive, and, dare I say it, unpredictable. I've been charged $85 to have a nylon winter coat with hood cleaned; $60 to have a trench coat dry cleaned; and a minimum of $25 for simple alterations (i.e small tearing along the seam). The kicker is this: once I went to pick up a dress and the woman removed the dress from its plastic sleeve! She told me I could fold the dress and put it in my bag! I've never had a dry cleaner remove my item from a plastic sleeve before handing it to me! It was odd, and honestly offensive for the prices charged. Flint's is by far the closest dry cleaner if you life just off North Harvard or Western, BUT there are cheaper, better skilled, friendlier dry cleaners across the river in Cambridge. I promise that it's worth it to find an alternative dry cleaners. I wouldn't recommend Flint's at all.

Mom and pop neighborhood shop that's been there 30+ years. The quality is very good. Pricing is competitive with other local dry cleaners, but I think it's a good value because the quality is good and reliable

Very bad service - trusted them with my tuxedo, mixed up the order and gave me back a generic white shirt. Claimed there was nothing they could do about it. Won’t be returning.

Dropped a new expensive suit and a coat for dry cleaning and they miraculously ruined both. My suit’s interior is now filled with burn marks. Onto the coat, the lady had the audacity to claim that the zipper was already broken when I dropped it off. Never going back to this dump.Service: Organic dry cleaning

Just the absolute worst dry cleaner imaginable. They ruined a wool sweater of mine - clearly washed a dry clean-only garment. The sweater had all the classic signs of washing wool: tightened fabric, heavy fabric, delicate wool details tamped down and faded. Without a doubt, it was washed.Mistakes happen, and when they're pointed out usually the best thing to do is to admit fault and offer some sort of compensation. Instead, the owner told me that she followed the instructions (a lie, but even if it was true - who cares? Whatever you did ruined the sweater?) and that I should take it up with the manufacturer. I told her the sweater was clearly washed, and asked again for her to replace it. She told me she hasn't made a mistake in 25 years, and refused to replace the garment or even refund my original purchase. So I got to pay for the pleasure of having a nice sweater ruined.Don't go here, period.Service: Special care fabric cleaning

This is the second day I went, I have been waiting at the door for no one to respond, until I called her, she was very impatient to say come in, I said I had come in, she did not let me into the inside, I do not know whether he understands English, said my pants are pure white not to wash, a face of disgust, I will not go to her home to wash anything

One of the only places I've tried that could take care of my suits and dress pants properly (i.e., get the pleat and collars ironed appropriately, not have weird residue left over). Such a relief to find them. If they could be a bit friendlier to customers (e.g., not seem angry or annoyed when you are dropping your clothes off to have cleaned), I'd be singing their praises from the rooftops. But even that unchanged, I'll still go back.

Super friendly and convenient! The woman working there was very kind and realistic about when clothes would be ready to pick up.

I just had one of the worst customer experiences of my life at Flint Cleaners. I used their dry cleaning service once before, and my clothes came back as expected. However, this time was very different and for that reason, I would NEVER recommend anyone use this company. One star seems too generous.
I visited two days ago to inquire about alteration services and get an estimate for hemming a multi-layered dress. Following the consultation and price estimate, I ask if it would be okay that I leave the dress and follow-up via phone no more than a day or two later to confirm if I would move forward with the alterations. I needed to check with the person paying for the service to confirm if they approved the cost. I communicated to the staff member helping me that if my friend approved the cost, I would continue with the service. The staff person (not sure if this is the owner, but I assume so) said this wouldn't be a problem.
I called back this morning to follow-up, as promised, and confirmed that I would like to cancel my alterations and said I would pick the dress up today. The person I spoke with on the phone said "okay" and hung up on me. When I went to pick up the dress, I calmly and nicely asked for the dress. The staff member then lifted up the dress bag to confirm it was the correct one. It looked as though she was going to take the dress off the hanger and out of the bag (which I left there with the dress). I asked her to leave the bag with it since it was a David's Bridal bag and belonged to me. She took the hanger off the rack, pulled the bag up to the hanger (no longer protecting the dress), threw the ball gown on the counter, and walked away. I was dumbfounded, and so was the customer behind me. He even helped me get the dress back in the bag.
