Throughout the past few months, this store has locked up almost everything. You can’t even buy a toothbrush without having an employee come assist you. Today, I was trying to buy deodorant and a nice employee came to assist me. However, he quickly informed me that he didn’t have the correct keys to open the case as someone stole them. He said his store has tried to contact CVS corporate for 3 weeks now and still haven’t had any luck getting new keys. This is beyond negligent of a billion dollar company. How about instead of locking everything up, hiring a security guard for each store? What a mess. I had to go to another store to buy the product I was looking for.

Impossible to get a hold of anyone in this location, basically have to show up and pray to God that there’s someone competent enough in the building to answer your question.

The old white lady working cashier there is the nicest and kindest soul ever. I was so surprised at her patience and passion to help every customer.

This CVS location has shocking levels of incompetence and poor customer service. They essentially misplaced my life sustaining meds when I came to pick it up and refused to apologize for it. Took hours for them to fill it out and had to call out for work.

Wish could do 0 star. Wanted to take a photo. Waited for over 30 mins. There was two staff there. One of them was slacking and was told to help me by the other one. Very reluctant to come over. Then 20 mins there and could not figure out how to use the camera. She kept asking the other one for help but zero response. Extremely useless and incompetent.

My doctor and I ordered refills of the birth control pills on the phone with cvs and the pharmacist employer told me to come in on sunday to pick up the pills because it was ready and when i went there on sunday to pick up the pills he was being rude to me and he refuse to give me the pills that i ordered on that day he said to me in a rude way do you have your medicaid card with you or your mass health card and i showed him the medical card and i told him the right numbers and he declines the card number and it was the right card number i gave him and he said thats not right card i was looking for i cant give you the medicine you need to call the medicare company to provide you the right number. So i called my medicare company to ask her to send me the right numbers and it was the right medicare card number she gave me and i kept giving him that number and he refuse to accept the numbers for me and he said to me i wanna talk to the medicare lady on the phone you'll have to wait 20 minutes for the refills. he put pills back on the shelf on purpose. i will never ever come back to this cvs pharamacy location in allston no more i will be switching to a different cvs pharamacy.

I hate this place the worst CVS in the states !!My mom needed a medication ASAP as she has cancer the prescription was sent over night from the Emergency Department, the pharmacy opens at 11am on Sunday (which kind of late and my poor mom was suffering all night from the pain. When I was there to pick up the médecine I was told that they never received the prescription (and he was sure of what he was saying with an attitude !!)On my way to work that day I called the physician multiple times to double check and she kept telling me that the prescription was sent and not sure why at the pharmacy they tell me that they cannot find it !! So I called the pharmacy and I got the same guy on the phone and I asked if he found the prescription, he said yes he found it, it waxed over night but he didn’t see it ? REALLY !!he said that they don’t have the médecine anyway so he will transfer the prescription to a different pharmacy (like he’s trying to cover up for his mistake) GUESS WHAT, the prescription was never transferred !!Workers at the specific CVS are very Rude, unprofessional, they seem to be forced to be there m. My mom had an emergency and needed the médecine and they just didn’t care !! Please please stay away from that pharmacy !!

Went to get Shampoo today & it was locked up. Ask for help, an employee, Spanish lady came & she was on the phone talking(in Spanish)…when did it become a thing, talking on the phone at work? She bought the shampoo up to the self check out & made sure I paid…Hate when employees think you’re gonna steal

I have Covid, for which I was prescribed Paxlovid last night. This morning, I tried to call the pharmacy, to ask my prescription to be delivered because I was contagious, and also to confirm when my prescription would actually be filled, rather than "in process." I spent a total of about 25 minutes waiting to speak to a human, but finally accepted that no one would answer, so reluctantly went into the CVS.When I got there, the pharmacist seemed unfazed when I said I had Covid, and casually agreed that the phone would never have been answered, because he was working alone. He said it was standard practice. One of the times I had called earlier, I pressed the "prescriber" option (because I am one), but didn't get through that time either. He said nothing when I told him that.My prescription, he said, would be ready in 20 minutes. I couldn't help asking whether I should just walk around the store until then, and he casually said yes. I said, "No, not with Covid I shouldn't!" He made no reply. I'm in my car waiting for my medication now.CVS is supposed to be engaged in assuring the health of their customers, but clearly neither the corporation nor [at least one of] their "healthcare professionals" takes that responsibility seriously.

My Doctor sent over a prescription around 2pm. Checked in on the train ride home around 3pm - not filled. Stopped by between 7-8 pm, Pharmacy closed (what?). Walked down at 1pm the next day, not filled - asked to be escalated, came back at 1:20 and it was not filled. I will have stopped in to this location 5 times to get this prescription and it will have taken them over 10 business hours to fill a single prescription.
