I made an appointment for my 9 1/2 year old boxer to have an echocardiogram because her primary vet diagnosed her with a heart murmur. I wanted her to see a cardiologist so that her murmur could be staged and treated accordingly as well as to find out if she had an enlarged heart. My husband and I showed up for our appointment and while sitting in the waiting room, waiting our turn to be called in to the exam room for our appointment, our dog was barking and howling like some boxers do. She is friendly but she is a barker. A guy walked by and said in a very rude manner, "somebody is getting sedated today" and he walked upstairs. If he had said it in a joking manner I would have shrugged it off, but he didn't. He was very smug. A few minutes later he came down the stairs and came over to us and our dog started barking again. He started yelling over her, which was very unnecessary, and said he needed her weight which we had already done and gave it to the girl at the desk who did enter it into their system. We told him her weight without yelling and he heard us. He then took us into the exam room and we started talking and I told him that I did not want my dog to be sedated. I didn't know anything about sedation prior to the appointment and if I had, I may have been better prepared with questions. With her murmur and possible enlarged heart, I would have had lots of questions regarding sedation. He then proceeded to tell me that we may as well not even waste their time or ours or our money because she needed to be sedated because she has to lay down for 30-40 minutes for the echocardiogram and because she can't be going around attacking people. My husband and I both said she doesn't attack people. We keep a muzzle on her harness for vet appointments as a precaution. We also do that for our other dog, also a boxer. Neither has ever attacked anybody or worn the muzzle. We are just responsible pet owners. I then told him that I was offended by what he is saying to me about my dog who has done nothing wrong. I did not raise my voice and I spoke to him politely even after he was rude. When I told him that he offended me he said very loudly "cool" and walked out of the room and slammed the exam room door. My husband took our dog and went out to the truck. I went to the front desk and started to tell the girl at the desk what happened and she said she heard it all and reported it to the office manager already before I even came out of the room. I told her he was an asshole and should not be working with people or pets. As I was getting ready to leave he came down the stairs and yelled "nobody is going to talk to me that way in MY business". I asked him, "what way, is this YOUR business"? He yelled "NO, BUT I WORK HERE" . I said "well you shouldn't". He then went into another room and slammed that door. This guy was very rude and it appeared that his co-workers didn't like him either. The office manager called me back the next day per my request and said that her and the owner would have a talk with him that day. She offered to reschedule my appointment and said she would do so making sure that we would not see him. I declined because I do not trust him around my dog and once they take her in the back I wouldn't know for sure if he was around her. I suggested to her that he be fired. Again, he should NOT be working with people or pets. After two weeks I called back to see if he was still employed by them and he is, so I will be going elsewhere to have my dog cared for. I highly suggest if you have a dog that barks, you do not want to have Jason as your tech there. I would suggest going somewhere else all together. Although the office manager Nicole was very nice as well as the other girl at the front desk (I forget her name), I think that the owner of the business should have called me personally. This was NOT just a small miscommunication, this was very much an employee who was looking f

I come here with my cat Gatsby who has a heart murmur. The staff and doctor are so attentive and supportive. They are great with communication. Nicole at the front desk helped me get a coupon for my cat’s medication! Very much appreciated considering his care is costly. Thank you to the staff and doctors for all that you do for my boy!

Well, they have become an ugly money grab! Veterinary care is okay but costs now make it prohibitive. Cost for a canine dental checkup and cleaning with no extractions, $402.00 for initial checkup (15 minute checkup) and another $1700.00 for the cleaning itself. Oh and the vet says with a straight face your pet should have this done 2x/ year. We are done with them and once again have had to move on and find a Veterinarian that is not all about the money, shame on them!

I have such a wonderful experience here. My chocolate pup has large-cell lymphoma and wasn't doing well. After 3 weeks of chemo, she's got the zoomies, gained weight, and got her personality back. Regardless of how her journey goes, I am thankful for their kindness.

I started coming here in 2022 when my previous dog that we had for 11 years was diagnosed with a brain lesion. The Dr treating our dog then was very attentive, compassionate & took her time. All the staff was great right up to our decision to planning for home euthanasia.
Then we adopted another dog 2 months later. She was a beautiful Staffy/Pitty mix like our first. But, she came with a lot of anxiety, Especially when we tried cutting her nails even with pre-meds. She got so anxious trying to restrain her she bit her tongue! Collectively we decided for hers & everyone’s safety sedation would be best. An IV med was administered “P”. She was still breathing while her nails were cut in the room. Then, 3cc more were given before they brought her to get her X-Rays of her hips & left hind knee. She was NEVER Put on a Monitor, OR an O2 SAT Monitor even though this med is considered Conscious sedation. She respiratory arrested with the Dr in the room. Then cardiac arrested and by this time there’s way for her to recover despite all efforts and she dies!!!! I FIRMLY BELIEVE, with My 20 years of Being an RN 10 In Critical Care that had she been on monitors, her chances of Survival would have been far greater!!! We need to make this a mandate for Monitoring our fur babies like we do our human patients! These are good people with good hearts that live their jobs! But the only ways that policies change is through mistakes and tragedies like these! And ONE Is ONE Too many!

Everyone here is so kind, compassionate, and caring, dr.ann gives understandable explanations, taking her time,so you understand I took my crazy little min pin Rufus here, and dr ann saved his life, so it was an easy decision, to take my rescue baby pia, here and put her care in the most caring hands, dr ann told me about her cats, and you can hear the love there, and her comments about my memories of my Rufus related to my new pia, reassured me I was in the right place.

I think it was very expensive, and the vetenarian had a little bit of an attitude, like most md's who think they are better than most people, learn a little compassion

Dr. Masloski is the most caring and thoughtful vet we have encountered in MA. She has gone above and beyond taking care of our cat, even going out of her way to meet us on a Saturday morning to give us pain medication for our cat when she wasn't feeling well post rhinoscopy. We highly recommend her and her staff.
