During the merger between Venning and my former accountant, my tax documents were misplaced. Naturally, it was up to me to go around to my employer(s) and have them re-issued. Annoying perhaps, but not the end of the world. I had never been notified, and I usually owe anyway, so it wasn't really on the forefront of my mind that I hadn't heard from Venning. It wasn't until 2023 documents were coming out, that I received word that 2022 had never been filed. One can imagine I really wasn't too pleased about that. So we added 2023 to Venning's "to-do" list. I dropped them off with a man named Rishanth, and was assured somebody would be in touch.
Another month goes by. I call probably 20 times. I leave message after message. I call their Rhode Island location. I leave more messages that nobody returns, and I even e-mail the "info" mailbox to which I receive no response what-so-ever.
This is just bad, bad business. I eventually had to leave work, drive to Agawam, and retrieve the documents myself. Guess what... they hadn't been touched.

Awful!!!!!!My CPA of 35 years sold practice to these guys. Late with filing, wrong state taxes filed and nobody answers the phone. If there was a way to take legal action I would.

Extremely expensive! I had a 1040ez with two w2s and they charged me $250!!!!! outrageous! In total for my family to get our taxes done it cost us $1,000. DO NOT GO HERE!
