Used to think this dealer was great used for routine oil changes. When I took it in for warranty service they had the vehicle 3 weeks then after looking a the vehicle called to tell me they wouldn't be able to repair it under warranty not because of myself or my policy or truck, but because their new owner didn't want to use the GMC purchased warranty which I bought at a GMC Dealer. So now I'm left towing my truck to my house then having to find another GM dealer and tow it there, basically they wont' honor the GMC warranty and caost me not one but 2 towing bills. All of this because they couldn't just warn me that they may not accept the warranty, and the real kicker here is they knew for quite a while they were being sold and this could happen. If they had told me this might come up I would have immediately had my vehicle towed to a dealer that will honor the Warranty. Don't trust them to be up front, don't expect them to honor their own parent company policies, in short jsut go elsewhere and save yourself the extra bill thye will cause you, and the shady underhanded business practices.

I do not own a Buick or GMC but I have been taking my cars to McAndrews for service as they are very close to my home. I love this dealership. I worked in dealerships when I was a youngster, selling cars, then in the service department. I know the difference between an honest, well run dealership and a bad one. McAndrews are good guys.

I bought a 2020 certified pre-owned GMC truck from Colandrea Buick-GMC in Newburgh, NY in January 2023 that is supposed to come with 2 free certified service visits for a simple oil change at any GMC dealer. I called McAndrews-King Buick GMC because they are 15 minutes up the road from me in Adams, MA instead of Colandrea because they are over 2 hours away to get my first service done and apparently, they don't honor that service system because "we don't make any money off of it". I ended up calling GMC directly and spoke with a customer assistance associate and both he and the team never heard of a GMC dealer not honoring the GMC certified pre-owned vehicle 2 free service visits well within the range of service visits. Nothing is expired or even close to expiring. Very odd. GMC directly ended up giving me a $100 voucher for any future service that is required after my 2 free service visits for this lunacy and are filing a report about it. I called Bedard's located in Cheshire, MA who isn't even a GMC dealer although they are a chevy dealer and they were more than happy to accept my 2 free service visits. I personally do not recommend McAndrews-King Buick GMC as they are not part of the "GMC family" in my opinion and appear to only be in it for the money. That sort of sets the tone if you're purchasing a vehicle from them.

Horrible service. They lied, ignored us, and never bothered to respond to us after several appointments and assurances they were ordering a part they never bothered to order because they didn't think the job was worth it and tried to talk me out of the repair multiple times.

Very happy with the whole team at McAndrews. Dan Maloney helped me with my purchase and he was very easy to deal with. No pushy sales tactics here. Highly recommend.
