I have had this bank for over nine years, and I have finally had enough. They lock my account without telling me. Don’t have a 24 hour customer service for help. This branch in every single location in Berkshire county has retards working for them.

This review is about Adams Community Bank's online banking. What little interaction we have had in person has been fine. However, since, like most people these days we do most of our banking online that is what really matters. We are constantly locked out of our account. Even though we usually sign in from a home computer on the same IP address we always get hit up with a challenge question (isn't that the point of having a password?). If you make any mistake (typo) you are immediately locked out of your account and to regain access have to call the bank during business hours. I am not even sure I am entering wrong info as I am super careful now because of being locked out so often.I have never dealt with a bank or any other business whose system locks you out after one bad entry (if in fact it is wrong). Most systems give you three tries. Mind you this is after entering the correct password. I have spent 15 minutes on the phone trying to get the account reactivated, entering the answer to the challenge question over and over and getting locked out each time. The person who handles resetting your account doesn't seem to care about this obvious problem, I guess it is job security for her. We are done with this bank. We tried to give our business to a local bank, but will be closing this account and returning to using a national mega-bank where we have never once been locked out of our account for our direct deposits and bill paying. Thankfully we discovered the ineptitude of Adams now, as we are about to buy a new home and will be seeking a mortgage. I see from other reviews Adams is lousy at that product as well.

I wanted to give some business to my local bank so I pursued a mortgage through Adams community. They had decent rates and it's a pretty commoditized business so why not. It wasn't a very smooth process and some amateur mistakes were made along the way which was annoying. What really impressed me though, was the exceptional lack of professionalism exhibited by a senior manager. Bizarre and unnecessary. I give this bank

If I could give a negative rating I would. We were in the bank first and an older woman who almost took my car door off in the parking lot just went in front of us to speak to the bank officer. Such poor service. I have been banking there for over 20 years needless to say I will be looking for a new financial institution. The lack of professionalism is disgusting

If I could give this bank 0 stars, I would. After 10 years of garbage customer service and insane amounts of fees, I’m closing my account. Do yourself a favor and choose ANY other
