“My favorite Saturday afternoon activity is to visit Hewn in Downtown New Bedford. This is one of my all-time favorite thrift stores, and I have been to many of them throughout the country. The owner is such a wonderful human being, who cares about the community.Hewn has a very unique curated selection of clothing, accessories, and home goods.The prices are very reasonable, and unlike most clothing thrift stores, I feel like I always get a great deal. It’s also curated as gender neutral and the clothes aren’t divided by gender on a label.This place is a gem, a must visit if you are in downtown.”
“I have found some really great items here. I especially like the vast selection of DVD's. Some items are very overpriced, which I don't like. There is no reason to price items the way an antique store would. All in all a great place to shop.”
