Literally could not have been less helpful. I went in for chemicals for our small above ground pool and the guy at the counter could not be bothered to give me any advice. I guess my purchase wasn’t being big enough for him? He seemed so irritated with my questions. This was a very frustrating experience. I’m not a pool expert and just wanted some guidance. Hopefully, what I bought will work.

They have moved into a larger space in a new location. I found their employee was helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to get the item I needed.

Called Surfside at the end of the summer for a leak in our heater. The worker who came out to our house left without any update of what he did to fix the issue. We had to call the store numerous times over a week in order to get a status update. We finally got word that the job had been ‘completed’ even though our heater was left completely opened and dismantled. When I called for the closing I mentioned this and was told it would be fixed in the spring?? The heater is still open and not prepared for the winter. The closing was also poorly done. Parts were left out - and the pieces which go in the skimmers were too big so we couldn’t close them, even though the correct size was in our shed. Will not be using Surfside next season.

This place has excellent service and the people willingly without hesitation put my bindings onto my skis in 2 days.

I went in on a Thursday evening and there was one person working. I was ready to pick out an above ground pool and pay the deposit. The young man there didn't know much, he was new and I totally get that. Not his fault. But he said he would have the owner or manager call me the next day to sort out the details. Never heard from them. Very disappointing when you're ready to make a big purchase and no one to help.

Follow thru to repair damage they cause is sorely lacking! I had a new liner put in this past September, in a new pool put in this past July. The installer came, put it in and caused a couple of dents in my new pool wall at the bottom! It's now mid December and it still has not been fixed. The installer keeps calling every few weeks telling me he's coming this week without fail - this week has come and gone for over three months now. I'm very worried if we get a lot of snow that the dents left in the pool wall will weaken the whole pool and I'll have to replace it again. The installation was very expensive. Trying to get their mistakes corrected is looking like an impossibility. I have emailed the store again and this time had to threaten to sue if any damage occurs to my new pool. At this point, I'm fed up! Buyer beware!!!

Had a fabulous experience with Sherry who serviced my son's pool. She was extremely conscientious and worked diligently over a short time frame to help us get the pool ready for a big family reunion. Charged a fair price for a big job and delivered on what she said would happen.

Absolutely awful experience and will never use this company again and will go out of my way to ensure no one else does too. My mom called to have our pool closed and the said they'd be here by 9am and NEVER SHOWED. They came back another day and didn't even close the pool because we were "missing a part" which after 8 years we've never heard. They schedule to come back at 7am another day and NEVER SHOW AGAIN! They wasted 3 days and didn't return our calls until 3 messages later! AWFUL customer service, they were very rude and condescending about THEIR inconsistencies, and only made excuses! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! There are so many nearby to this one it is definitely not worth the money!!!!

Can't vouch for their pool-building reputation, but we go and get our salt (Intex above ground pool with salt system instead of chlorine, A+ btw) and shop for some toys and accessories. They don't have a huge selection but they always have what I need. For a local pool shop it is fine, nearby and friendly.
