Hours: Founded in 1929, Stonefield Farm is located in Acton, MA, and is protected under a permanent Agricultural Preservation Restriction, which means the land will remain as farmland. In 2021, Boston Area Gleaners purchased Stonefield Farm from the Simeone Family, who farmed the land for nearly 100 years. Boston Area Gleaners is a food systems organization working at the intersection of farming, food waste, and hunger relief. The Gleaners work with local farms to harvest high quality crops that farmers do not have the time or capacity to harvest, and redistribute that produce to hunger relief organizations across New England.
