I have had several pieces of art beautifully framed at Powers Gallery. I have also purchased art from their incredible collection. Larry Powers has cultivated an exquisite portfolio of artists. His diverse collection speaks to a broad base of artistic styles from contemporary to classic. Designers from throughout New England rely on Larry to curate collections for their client’s homes and offices. Powers Gallery is well worth the trip to this exceptional gallery set in a lovely historic home setting.

While up to Groton, visiting my sister, we decided to go to this lovely gallery for a visit on our first venture out in a very long time. We were welcomed by their friendly, knowledgable staff and the owner, Lawrence. Their original, creative fine art is worth the trip if you are anywhere in the area of Acton. Each room, on two floors of this older house is an eye-catching display of creativity and color.Time pleasantly well spent.

We have been going to this locally owned business for many years, both for framing and to purchase artwork. In fact, my parents went here when Larry's father owned the business. The gallery is located in a beautifully restored antique house. You can explore each room to see the art on display, many of them by New England artists. They have a big collection that is not on display, so if you are looking for something different, they will gladly find it for you. They are very good about letting you try out the artwork at home. If you need help deciding, Larry will come over with a few pieces and give you his opinion (COVID-safe, of course). We loved a piece but it was too big for our wall - Larry worked with the artist to commission a smaller size that's perfect. We also asked them to make two mirrors for our new bathroom. We have found the entire staff kind, welcoming, and not at all intimidating. We have visited many galleries and we feel that the prices here are reasonable for the quality. We highly recommend Powers Gallery!

Great gallery! The space is a two-story old house with lots of rooms to browse through. There is also a large open gallery space on the first floor and an outdoor patio. They have an excellent selection of fine artists from contemporary to traditional. I probably go every few months and there is plenty of new works to keep my interest.Another big plus is the framing side. Evelyn is my go to person. I am very satisfied with both the quality and design aspects of the pieces I’ve had framed. They handle very large pieces expertly.

The commitment to all that is valued in the process of an artist's discovery. The Gallery, I feel supports an integrity that can only be seen in Fine Art that is created within a high standard. Quality is a word I think of when I think of Powers Gallery.

The Powers Gallery at 144 Great Rd in Acton, Massachusetts, is a superb resource for artists and art lovers. The works on display have great depth and breadth of vision and execution, and yield insight and excitement from one room to the next. There are works which will halt you in your footsteps. Unlike a museum, there are not the crowds (save for artists' openings). The quality and lasting value is seriously real. Framing is higly professional.

Recently had the pleasure of visiting the Powers Gallery to see Jill Solomon's new clay vessels. As always, her work is exquisite! I was equally impressed by the groupings, arranged so beautifully they seemed to have been made for each other. All of the work was impressive and it was a truly delightful visit!

I recently stopped in and was warmly greeted, introduced and given a nice tour of all the galleries. It's set up so you can get an idea what a painting might look like in your home. Lot's of good and varied art selections.
