June 2023 - Very sad to get an email from the store that they are closing after 40+ years in the business. Their knowledgeable, friendly staff were always great to work with, and their customer service was excellent. Another victim (I think) to online virtual stores and declining clothing standards. Shop locally to support local businesses or they will all disappear!

Really great customer service at Gould's. Went here to get a suit for my son's prom and selected Gould's based on good reviews - they did not disappoint. They spent plenty of time working with my son to properly measure him and help select all the options on colors and styles. They made extra sure the ticket with all the info on styles and sizes was correct so everything they ordered would come in correctly. Really good experience.

Guys were wicked Kool helping me out with my 1st tuxedo rental. Came with more than any of the big/online places and costs less. Nothing but a good experience. owners working at the place took care of us.

Visited the pet shop, bought a specialized goldfish, Andreas so excited to find ut here. The shop owner was terrific. Lots of info. Helped set me up.

Gould’s is an exceptionally fine men’s and Women’s clothing store. For men, it is as Brooks Brothers was, and for a local store, it is a gold mine.

Always. Go to Gould's.Waited till week before prom for my giant son (6'2"... size 15 shoe) to get a tux.The next week - there it was - PERFECTThey sized him without a tape measure but then double checked with a tape.So - THIS is the kind of craftsmanship that just does not exist any more it seems in this world.Frequent this GEM of a storeSadly we've lost Laggis' in Ayer... but we still have Gould's in ActonAlso -- similarly - needed big/tall sized blazer/slacks/long tie/long sleeve shirt last fall for a funeral ... walked out same days with ALL PIECES and a lovely professional look.Not cheap but not outrageous

Visiting this plaza last 10 years . Has Donleans a local food chain store . Awesome in there service and quality . Has Citizen bank where I often go. Has a big parking lot . It's right on route 119.
