“Dr mertz is great. I've been bringing a variety of animals to him over the last 10+ years. And prices are amazing for the services. I need to call them soon actually to make an appointment for my tortoises to get their nails and beaks trimmed! I've brought chickens here as well.They do take wildlife for rehab. Call first and make sure you go to the correct door for wildlife. It's not the same as the regular vet section.You can also take a tour of the facility. I think it's like 5 for self guided and 10 for a guided one. I always learn something when I'm there”

“Dr. McAdam and her team are absolutely top notch!! I have only been lucky enough to use her services once. When my mother's cat wasn't eating, we brought her to South Shore Animal Services as a second opinion after spending an extraordinary amount over multiple visits at another vet and coming to no resolution. Within minutes of the appointment, Dr. M identified a likely tumor in the cat's abdomen by touch (using her hands). X-rays confirmed the worst and our cat is now over the rainbow bridge.In this sensitive moment, Dr. M and team went above and beyond to comfort my elderly mother and make her cat as comfortable as possible in her last moments. This combination of endless compassion for both humans and animals involved combined with the knowledgeable, high quality care is not something to take for granted. All 4 of my hedgehogs were just seen & given meds for under like 5hun.One of my females is being treated for a leg injury moon , Anari is being treated for her breathing she was born sick. “Bonnie (and Erin) came to examine my 12 year old 120# Yellow Lab Cooper yesterday. I can't say enough good things about their service. Bonnie was recommended by Cooper's former Vet due to the fact it's very difficult and stressful to Coop to get him in the car for a visit to the Vet's office. The exam was very thorough and I felt as if they were caring for their own pet. They cleaned his ears, checked him from head to toe and gave me some solution to help with a growth on his back. Great service and very nice folks!”

“All four of my dogs go to JM Pet Vet for their healthcare needs, and they are great! This review however is about the retail store that is attached to the clinic. My labrador is 10 years old and has been struggling pretty severely with arthritis in her hips. After her laser treatment this week I stopped in at the retail store to look for salmon oil. They have an amazing selection so I was sure they'd have what I needed. The best part though, was meeting a super knowledgeable and helpful animal nutritionist who is on staff! She gave me fabulous advice about supplements for my dog, nutrition advice for helping her to lose some weight, and overall support about ways to help my dog feel better as quickly as possible. Her name is Crystal (the nutritionist, not my dog!), and if you need nutrition advice to help your pet live their longest and happiest lives, you should make a point to go by and speak with her. I'm happy I did!”

They got us in the day that I called, treated her, took care of her, and brought her back to health. “Came across this review and had to set the record straight. Found Dr. Haddad, then owner of North Main St Veterinary Clinic, in the early 90's and never looked back. Had been to veterinarians in Canton, Sharon, Stoughton, Randolph and Weymouth, but NMSV was where we stayed for 3 decades, thanks to Dr. Haddad and his very remarkable staff. Dr. Haddad never overcharged, but often, under charged for his services. Always received multi pet discounts and was never discouraged from piggy backing visits to save money and that we did, but more importantly, we received top notch care. He likely wasn't the best businessman, but he was far an away the best and most dedicated and caring veterinarian.A very humble and hard working man, he stayed on after selling to VCN. Through personal and physical issues he worked far past retirement because he cared so deeply. He is a dedicated vet who served out country in the 25th infantry division in Vietnam. Dedicated to caring for military dogs to this day. There aren't enough stars to properly award this outstanding veterinarian and human being. For ever grateful for the care he provided all our loves.”
