Worst bank ever. If you over draft 5 dollars you'll be charged 75. They punish their customers for being slightly broke or making a small mistake I have lost a lot of money with this bank. Manager was not helpful said I lost 170 dollars because of a Netflix charge which is absolutely absurd. So many other online banking options that don't do this if you have this bank or are thinking about it run. After being a customer for 15 years and having direct deposit they have stolen yes stolen lots of money from me.

Been a customer for 15 years and the overdraft fees are ridiculous. I’m a hard working single mom who struggles to make ends meet. I over drafted very little maybe a dollar her or 5 or 10 bucks there and they have charged my about 600 dollars in the past year because of this. I usually can’t get the since I don’t have a car so I just bite the bullet and pay the fees. This time I’m behind on rent and utilities and all I did was over draft 9 dollars and now my account is minus 235. I desperately needed that money. Since covid my kids sometimes have no school or since I work retail if you have even a cold you have to miss work due to working with the public. Every other company in the world has been lenient towards this but not Rockland trust. I’m done with this bank after 15 years this is how they treat their struggling customers all because of 9 dollars. They are thieves and a bad bank save yourself.

Applied for a VA loan in August 2020 ,it's now Feb. 2021 nothing no phone calls ,no follow up, NO E mails. We provided all requested paper work we made some phone calls checking on the status, yada yada yada. Still nothing to this day.Terrible classless Bank. Removing my Money and going elsewhere. Obviously NO Respect for Veterans all , Disgusting place of Business Bye Bye!!!

I asked in great detail on a Monday to range services. I had a few questions on Wednesday prior to coming in on Thursday morning, the bank's tone had then changed. The staff would no longer help me with my services, saying they don't do that. That was not the answer I was given on Monday. I was then told to check with other financial institutions to see if they could provide the service I needed. Not only will I, I will change my banking to a different institution. I can relate to the underlying concern of recent events. But when you're costing your customer thousands of dollars just because you now don't want to provide the service you said you would, that is wrong.

i moved here last year from the uk and was finally able to set up a bank account of my own here this year. i set it up with rockland trust in abington (as this is who my wife banks with) and have been thrilled with the service. each time i've been in the bank i've seen laura who also helps out with customer service. she's extremely kind, patient and helpful. today when i had an issue with my card and needed it replaced, laura was incredibly understanding. she happily helped me with what i was going through and got me a new card. i have also been looking to starting up my own business and laura has been a huge help. she informed me of the business display rockland trust offered and told me to get in touch whenever i was ready to display flyers or business cards to get clients. couldn't be happier with the service and how friendly literally everyone is here.

This bank uses Chexsystems to evaluate potential checking accounts. Chexsystems has a long history of providing bad information. So, despite the fact I have no negative checking and banking history, I was offered a checking account where I could not have a debit card for 12 months and they charge $10 per month just to hold my money.What's the point? When asked what was negative, Rockland stated they have nothing to do with it. Now I have to go through this lengthy process of requesting the report from Chexsystems (5 business days through the mail), dispute what may be on there, and correct it. Rockland disavows all responsibility for the system they use and does not provide any information regarding the score that is generated. The other review on here is regarding being short on cash deposits so bank here at your own risk.

Very poor customer service (at the branch and the phone customer service - rude as well as different answers depending who you speak to regarding their policies) ATM is always having problems. Couldn't be happier to switch banks.
