I went down to Platinum Auto earlier today based on a recommendation from a co-worker and I've never had such a positive experience with the car-buying process. Clearly a family-run small business but Larry Russo made the whole process easy - I had my usual 50 questions (buying a car is always an adventure and I worry about brake fluid a lot) but he put my mind at ease - he didn't come across as the stereotypical used car salesman at ALL - just a good experience and they deserve any success they get. Financing was simple (Rockland Credit Union which has its own advantages) - they clearly want repeat business and nobody there was pushy. Even his son was polite and clearly into the business which doesn't always happen! Old-school and better for it. Anyone looking for a good car with strong after-market support can't go wrong. Thank God people like this still exist but I was very impressed.

I had a great experience buying my car from Platinum Auto. They offer quality cars at fair prices. Larry talked to me about his experience in the car industry and shared accurate details about the car I was interested in. The purchasing process was smooth, and I drove away a happy customer. If I'm in the market for a car in the future, I'll definitely check out their inventory first.

This past Spring I purchased a Subaru Outback from Platinum Auto and the experience could not have been more friendly and efficient. I saw the vehicle I was interested in through an ad Saturday evening. I called Sunday morning and even though it was his day off, Larry showed me the vehicle that afternoon. After a substantial test drive I purchased it on the spot. The car was beautifully presented, the warranty from Platinum was excellent, and Larry was as cordial and laid back as could be. And best of all, the price was unmatched by any other dealership I had researched - literally a full $2K - $3K below other listings of that vehicle found elsewhere. And this was not on a $50K vehicle, but one that cost me $16K. All in all, the experience was simply wonderful, which is not a word commonly associated with purchasing a used vehicle, lol. My thanks to you, Larry, and to all the folks at Platinum Auto. Best wished for continued success!

My wife and I were in the market for a used Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD! There are quite a few out there for sale, many of which met our criteria and we would have been happy with purchasing. But...we also wanted to feel comfortable with the person or dealer from which we purchased the vehicle.This is where Platinum Auto and especially Larry stood out from the crowd. When we first visited, we loved the truck that was on the lot but still went away, uncertain if it was THE one. A few days later I called Larry and asked more questions to which he patiently and thoroughly answered. Still we waited. We drove the hour and a half to check it out again. We test drove it again. Again, Larry was patient, answered questions and was transparent in his answers. No hemming and hawing, just told us what he knew and if he didn't know, said he would find out...and he did.We left and then just showed up and asked to see the truck again. It was a rarity that it was still available, it is a great truck. This time, We made the deal! When we did we mentioned a feature that wasn't operating correctly. He promised it would be repaired when we returned to pick up the truck!When we came back, the item had been replaced, not just repaired and Larry again took time going through the vehicle with us. His follow up with us and availability when we asked questions weeks later is why we feel blessed to have found Platinum Auto.All this is to say, if your trust in the dealer is as important as your getting the right car, look at Platinum and experience a great overall car purchase!

I would recommend this dealer to absolutely anyone. Larry and the team at Platinum Auto go above and beyond. Some people use that saying very loosely, but in this case it’s in the truest sense. If they have the car you’re looking for, they’ll give you a great deal. However, in my experience, they will also work diligently to find you the car you really want, even when they don’t have it on the lot. I was looking for something very specific and he didn’t have it. Amazingly, a week after we met to discuss my needs, he found me the exact vehicle at a price that was completely affordable. When it arrived, it had a few cosmetic blemishes, but not to worry...Larry sent the car for a full overhaul and when it was delivered, it was perfect!! I love it. This is the 4th vehicle I’ve purchased from Platinum, and I promise it won’t be the last!!! Great job Platinum Auto!!

I think the saying goes "people don't usually leave reviews unless they want to complain about bad service": WELL that is NOT the case here. I can not say it loud enough or tell enough people about the awesome experience we had with Larry and his staff at Platinum Auto .Like myself I am sure people out there dislike dealing with car dealerships, and fear the uncertainty of the experience and the deal that will be worked out when finding your next vehicle. So as you can imagine when we walked in, we were hesitate from the start. Larry welcomed us and instantly we both could tell this is going to be a different experience, completely not what we were use to at other places.. He was personable, knowledgeable, listened, truly listened and heard what we needed and wanted, didn't steer us into anything but what we asked. didn't try to push anything on us, honestly was just a genuine kind person. The experience was amazing from start to finish, seamless and easy. These days customer service GOOD customer service doesn't seem to exist anymore, BUT it certainly does with Laryy and Platinum Auto. If you have had it with the hassle and pressure you get when going to a dealership, try Larry and his staff, you will not be disappointed..
