“This place has an amazing selection for beer, far better than most places. My biggest complaints are that the collection is pretty disorganized and people will randomly take bottles out of 4- and 6-packs to build their own packs, so make sure everything in the pack is what you want.”
“Not only do we love going in and seeing the vast array of carefully selected options (we always know that any bottle of the shelf is going to be great), we recently had a great experience using them as our alcohol provider for our wedding! Dave was extremely helpful in figuring out which specific brands we wanted and made us feel extremely relieved after our meeting with him. While we did not end up selling anything back, Dave was kind enough to drive back out to the venue the night before to drop off more beer after we ended up blowing though our supply on the first night! I couldn't recommend them enough, whether its for an event or just to pick up a bottle for a night in.”

“One of the most extensive collections and offerings around neatly displayed. Educated helpful staff, tasting room for events plus tasting samples on weekends. In upscale turf valley area next to several great restaurants and Harris Teeter. And they offer my favorite, Wisher Beet Vodka.”

I realize they switched ownership a while back now, but my goodness they know what they're picking in the beer department! Lots of MD local beers, limited runs, small-batch, you name it, they're probably working on getting at least some in stock!I've been pleasantly surprised again and again at the options when browsing! I highly recommend this place for a local spot to find everything you need.”
“Times have changed, Oakdale is in a new phase of its life span with new owners. Dude with the tattoos Named Allen, is a phenomenal worker and gives his all and endures the wrath. The lady on the other hand is why so many workers and customers are abandoning the place, it's lost its soul. In a span of a year, 4 workers have quit due to mental health issues. She's managed to put herself on a toxic pedestal to look down on her workers, even not paying them. All she does is sit and point give you a fake smile and laugh and start belittling you, even her hardest workers. I'd recommend coming in past 5 or 6pm, as a former employee and keyholder/manager those are the best hours. It's hard being appreciated when you have a 4 face manager making you wish you didn't exist while also struggling for a whole month financially.”

It is not spacious like the Total Wine store in Laurel, but I am always surprised at the range of options they have packed into this store. And, if I am failing to remember the name of an obscure beer or liquor, I have yet to find the staff ignorant of what I am seeking. For those rare requests, as when I was trying to obtain a whiskey unavailable to a friend in another state, the store owner investigated as to its availability in Maryland and obtained it for me in a couple days.”
