Great place to bring your kids or even yourself to walk the trails, check out the beaver dam, stare at the goats, or see the owls. There's an education center there with information and kids classes. I was there most recently on Columbus Day/Indigenous Ppl Day and they're appeared to be hosting a camp for kids since HoCo schools were closed.

This is a place you must see for a casual afternoon or a formal affair. I attended a formal garden wedding late afternoon that was so beautiful. Finger food served in the garden and main meal served in the building. If you are getting married you need to book this place well in advance.

A beautiful place to see the natural diversity available in Howard County and the Mid-Atlantic habitat. Several miles of trails, areas for kids to play and learn about nature, different habitats, and working to preserve green spaces in an area that is seeing its green spaces disappear. Worth a visit and preserving

The Howard County Conservancy is a real treasure. Just walk around and enjoy -- I love coming here for the sense of Big Sky, like you would get farther west in the US. It's also a great place for watching birds and butterflies and other wildlife. I can't cover the whole place in one visit and enjoy coming back regularly in every season. (Photos were taken in September and October, 2022.)

The Howard County Conservatory in Maryland is a hidden gem, a stunning and unique venue that is perfect for any special occasion. Nestled in the heart of the county, the conservatory boasts a grand ballroom with a soaring glass ceiling and views of the surrounding gardens. The gardens themselves are a true treasure, with winding paths and charming gazebos set among lush greenery and fragrant flowers. The conservatory is the perfect place for an intimate wedding ceremony or a grand reception, with space for up to 300 guests. But the conservatory is more than just a wedding venue – it's also a hub of culture and education. The conservatory hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including concerts, art exhibits, and workshops. It's the perfect place to learn something new or simply enjoy the beauty of nature. The conservatory is also a place of history and tradition. Built in the early 20th century, the conservatory has been a fixture in the community for over 100 years. It's a place where memories are made and traditions are passed down from generation to generation. I truly enjoyed photographing this wedding here! ig @iamthesam

We had our dream wedding here. Loved everything about this space!! It was unique, beautiful, spacious and so much nature.I liked that there was an outdoor and indoor space the guests were able to go. Grace was our point of contact for the venue, and from the start she was so nice, helpful and very responsive. We love that it's also a place we can revisit and build future memories.Photos by Jasmine Yab photography

I love this place!! This review is based on my cousins wedding I just attended. This venue is sneaky! Like super cute. The scene is beautiful especially when the weather is working in your favor. The package she got was open bar for the whole nice and buffet line meals. Her guest list was 125 people but there were a few empty seats ,which is to be expected because people randomly cancel their invite last min. But the deck provided such a gorgeous view for picture taking. The photographer took the bride and groom into the woods to take more wedding shots. There is a huge dance floor in the ballroom for dancing. Food was good and drink were good! This wedding a was a hit and the staff? We're more than accommodating! We enjoyed their assistance throughout the whole event! If I could have done a big wedding? I definitely would have done it here! My cousin chose well!

Such a wonderful place that I never knew existed until this weekend when We attended a wedding here.Actually, I officiated. So, I got to check out the grounds around the main building before the bride and groom arrived for rehearsal. They have a wonderful wandering Garden with Fountains and water features. I could sit by a loud water feature for hours. The wedding was in the garden, but the facility had prepared the Veranda in case the rain didn't clear up. In addition to the new main structure, they have Historical buildings and Summer camps.

A great place to take a peaceful walk (with or without children or pets). Some paths are muddy, but there are many to choose from that aren’t. It’s a very freeing walk, as there is almost no limit to where you can go. Also, there are some animals to look at, a garden and a few unique places to sit and relax.

A valuable and wonderful place to visit to learn about our surroundings. Trails were easy to navigate and there were plenty of resources to help get the most from our experience. Family friendly and a great opportunity for birders of various levels of experience.

This is a lovely place to spend time in nature. Plenty of walking trails, some easy, some a little muddy or bumpy. If you enjoy nature this is a great place to volunteer as well. They have lots of children's activities and wonderful events, too. Check it out!

Could not have picked a better venue, not only because of the beautiful property but also because the extremely friendly staff!! My husband and I fell in love with this venue right away, it suited our needs in many aspects. It had that beautiful modern simplicity we were looking for; I liked having the indoor and outdoor options, and it didn’t need much decoration for it to be beautiful. My guests were allowed to roam around most of the property and enjoy the scenery. My guests have not stopped letting me know how they loved the venue.Since COVID had pushed our wedding back (suppose to be a 2020 wedding, but became a 2022 wedding), I worked with different people, and each person I interacted with had been so nice. I originally worked with Denise, then Allison, Taryn, and ultimately Grace. Each person was very kind and responsive, and introduced themselves to me and provided me with whatever updates they had with the venue. Grace had been so kind to us, and made sure to re-clarify everything I could not remember (since it had been 2 years I’ve signed the contract) and was very quick to respond to emails. When I finally met her face to face, she was very friendly and knew so much about the property and was very informative which made me feel at ease.Top notch communication and helpfulness throughout the entire process and all the staff we’ve interacted with. I’ve recommended this place to everyone, and will continue to.
