Have been taking the family cars here for over 10 years since moving to Frederick area. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our repairs. Jake and his crew are honest, reliable, fast and reasonably priced. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trust worthy mechanic in the area!

I am a DIY change my own oil type of person so I don't take my families cars to the shop that often. But there are some jobs out of my league and this is the shop I will take my cars to for anything from wheel bearings to timing belt servers. Jake knows his stuff and is not the person to nickel and dime you on services you don’t need.

Took my truck here as a last ditch effort hoping that they could identify and repair a mystery rattle and shake that 3 other repair shops could not figure out. I am pleased to report that not only did they figure out and fix what was wrong, they were able to get it back on the road the same day at an extremely fair price.The SHOP Autowerx is an honest, attentive, and skilled repair shop. I followed the excellent reviews and brought my BMW here, jake diagnosed the problem right away and did not over charge me. I next brought him two more cars and he treated me the same… honest, excellent service and good price. Very efficient. Worth the trip! Thank you Jake!

We have taken both our cars here for some time now. No one more reliable and trustworthy. One of our cars is fairly older and we were told it needed over a $1,000 in repairs from another company in the area. We took it to Jake and he showed us where they were up charging us. Ended up costing way less to actually be fixed because Jake is honest and has a heart for serving people, not ripping them off.Good people, can’t recommend more!Services: Electrical

Owner here has been extremely understanding while my car sits and I scrounge money up for a new engine. They were able to diagnose the problem my car was having in a day after 3 other "performance" shops in the state failed over a year to diagnose properly. Not to mention the 4 other performance shops that wouldnt even look at the car. Guess if you don't have a Subaru or VW in MD you're out of luck. Super solid experience here so far. Wish I hadn't been fleeced by those other shops for around 6 grand before getting here. Then i would've had the new engine already.

I went to get my tires changed and in the process they noticed I needed new brakes also. They managed to get everything done in just one day. They're a good honest shop that I highly recommend!
