I came into the nail salon to get a gel pedicure. The salon wasn’t busy at all only maybe a couple customers getting serviced. I was asked what service I wanted then told the wait would be 15 min. After a customer that was waiting ahead of me was finally serviced after 15 min I waited for another 15 so in total I waited there patiently for 30min. At that point I asked was anyone there to service me and was told that someone was maybe on their way and I could wait for them to arrive. Absolutely not as I had plans for the day. I left and found another salon that could accommodate me. I would’ve appreciated an honest update as to when I could actually get serviced instead of sitting there for no reason. Will never come back this place is ghetto!

My first and last time ever going to this nail salon! Julia did my pedicure and she is VERY rude and unprofessional!! I initially walked in and out because no one greeted me as I stood at the front desk. I know that she saw me because we made eye contact. The crazy part was after I walked out, Julia ran out of the salon, into the mall, asking if she can assist me. I initially told her no and kept walking, and I should have trusted my gut and kept walking. Instead, I walked back to the salon for service. I will never return to allow Julia or anyone else there be disrespectful and unprofessional towards me because my money spends everywhere!! First impressions are lasting impressions.

I have been a long time customer of Andy's for 5+ years. Overall, we have a mutual respect relationship client to service tech or so I thought. I got my nails done 7/16/23. I started to notice earlier this week(7/25) that my acrylic had separated from my actual nail on one finger. Having had this problem before where water seeps in and creates a water/mold stain, I thought I'd better be proactive and get this fixed. I visited the shop today(7/27) to get it fixed. Andy could not have been more nastier to me today refusing to do the service as I offered to pay for the repair. He went on to explain about how my nails grow and he doesn't know what happened. As I explained to him, I wasn't looking to blame anyone, I just wanted to repair so further problems don't happen later. I refuse to be loud talked in a place of business where I pay MY money. He even went to the extreme of telling me not to come back because I didn't agree with him. Again, 5+ years of loyalty and committed service thrown away over refusing to repair a nail that had clearly separated from the acrylic and needed repair. I'm a client that would come in and pay $95+ for service faithfully and you try and insult and belittle me over a nail repair. I will honor his request and never return again. Horrible!!! You've been warned people! If he can treat me like this, he will do the same to you. It's our hard earned money that pays him, he doesn't pay us. When we ask for a service, grant us the respect of doing just that and this was a reasonable service. Why should it ever turn into an argument!

I have never felt more disrespected than what I experienced today. I have been a client of Andy's for 5+ years, but that ended abruptly today. I came in today (07/25/23) to get my nail repaired. I got my nails done on 7/16, but one of my nails started separating from the acrylic. I have had an experience before with water/mold stains on my nail from this nail tech, so I wanted to fix it right away before it happened again. Andy refused my request of service and started talking to me about the way my nail grows, and I didn't need to fix it when it was clearly separated from the acrylic. I even went to show him the separation, and he turned his head away and insisted he wouldn't fix it. I wasn't looking to blame anyone, I just wanted it fixed. He started loud talking to me and saying he wouldn't do it, even if I paid. He then told me not to come back. Every time I come to that shop, I spend $95+ for 5+ years, and you would talk to me like that. Ridiculous! I'm taking the time to write this to warn you that he is rude and has no respect for his customers. There were so many different ways we could have solved this, but I will not be disrespected, especially where I spend my hard earned money. Be advised!!!

I came to this nail shop to get gel nails with a manicure and a pedicure. I tech was a Asian male. He did my pedicure and when he went to do my gel manicure. This is where it went bad. He pulled out a drill to get the gel on my nails off. I said, do not use the drill on my nails because it tears up my nail bed use the tool or soak it off. He said, "no" and if you don't follow my way then you can leave. I said, the drill is not safe. He reiterated if you don't follow my way you have to leave. He said, it's the only way I can do my job. I said, drills have not always been the tool used to get nail polish on. Your answer is not logical. I said, answer this question for me---is the drill safe for my nails or not? He said, your not following my way I am calling security. I said, okay but I'm not rushing or scared. It's your job to explain if a practice is safe or not and you refuse to answer that question. So, security came in like what happen. Two black men. I was putting my shoes on. I told them they were like ok. I understand. Yeah--don't worry about it. I said, I'm not. I'm not spending my money for a person to control my body or my health. I told the Asian guy your problem is that I am not allowing you to control my decisions, body, or health and when that didn't work you decided that you would scare me with "security". I said, I'm Dr. Anjerrika Bean and I study race, people, and violence. I specifically, study KEN's like you!! I said, you have let the media make you think Black people should lose respect or dignity when you call them. You're wrong. What's going on is you're incompetent and you as an Asian man can not control this black woman and I was smart enough to challenge you on your ignorant behavior. I said you don't want a conversation you want to dictate to me what's happening with my body. That's going to be a hard no. So, no I do not recommend this business to anyone! More importantly, I plan to bring this to the courts. If you feel like you have been discriminated against. You probably have----report them and don't allow any of them to tell you what's good for your body.

Soooo... I desperately needed a fill in and pedicure and seeing as how I work over by this location and I was leaving work, I decided to go here for the convince. This is not the nail salon I normally go to every 2 weeks so I was definitely skeptical. When I got in, there was nobody really there so I thought I would be in and out with no problem. I let the guy know I needed a pedicure and fill in on my nails. He started preparing the water for my pedicure. everything seemed fine at first then after a few minute, I noticed he was using equipment that had not come out of a new package so basically he was using drills, callus remover that wasn't sanitized before using, nail clipper, etc on my feet. I was told my pedicure would be around $45-50 which is typically what I pay at my other salon but it was not worth it in my opinion. When he began my nails, He was watching a soccer game the entire time barely paying attention. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks so I know the procedure and not once did he tell me to go wash my hands until he put the cuticle oil and once he was finished. I asked if they did designs and he said only the lady that worked there did designs. He told me it would be a 15 minute wait if I wanted a design so I told him forget it and when I went to pay he told me my total was $115!! I was so shocked cause like for what?!?? Especially when I typically pay $95 for nails and feet with designs at my original nail salon! I will NEVER come back to this nail salon. They are honestly getting over on people and I hope they are sanitizing the equipment.

They accommodated my friends and I very well. I think they were understaffed that day and I booked an appointment for three people (very much last minute) but they accepted us anyways. I honestly think it's the best dip powder set I have ever gotten done and I get my nails done pretty often. While she was cutting my cuticles down, two of my nails did get nicked and at the end, both of them were bleeding but it's just a tiny bit (that's only reason it's four stars and not five). If I were to go there again, I'd book ahead and ask for Jenny. Jenny was very patient with me and did my nails very well plus she had a very cool sense of style. My friend's nails turned out okay and all but they did mess one or two nails up for them (her coworkers). Definitely ask for Jenny!

The man that sit near the sinks did a bad paint job on my nails, it doesn’t make sense that I got nails done on Saturday and they started to peel by Sunday morning and have air bubbles. When I went back to them on Monday my only day off the receptionist told me that no one would fix my nails for me and I would have to wait until that nail tech return back to work the next day.NEVER again!
