I have been a loyal customer of this store for the past three years, but I was deeply disappointed by an incident today. I was wrongly accused of stealing four mangoes, despite having paid for them. As I was leaving the store and loading the groceries into my car, the security guard confronted me with a duplicated receipt and questioned my purchases. I explained that the mangoes were listed on my receipt and pointed it out to him and stated that I had no reason to steal, but instead of acknowledging the mistake or offering an apology, the security guard simply responded with, “I hope not,” and walked away.
This experience was extremely upsetting, and as a result, my family and I have decided to take our business elsewhere.
I would like to offer a few suggestions to help prevent such incidents in the future:
Training for Staff: It would be beneficial for the store to provide additional training for security personnel to ensure they handle situations with customers more professionally and respectfully.
Improved Customer Service Protocols: Implementing clearer protocols for addressing and resolving customer issues, including proper verification and apologies when mistakes occur, would enhance the customer experience.
Review of Security Procedures: A review of current security procedures could help prevent misunderstandings and ensure that accusations are managed with care and sensitivity.
Customer Relations Feedback: Establishing a formal feedback process for customers to report and resolve issues could improve service and address concerns more effectively.
Compensation or Apology: Considering a formal apology or some form of compensation for affected customers might help restore trust and demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction.
I hope these suggestions are taken into account to improve the overall customer experience.

I would like to know why there is always outdated or very close to outdated food such as 1-3 days left on meats bread etc. I noticed on my last visit that the meat department had re-wrapped packages, I can tell because you can see the old sticker underneath the replaced one. This is not good practice. nor is it safe for consumers. Also! the refrigerated deli meats don't look fresh around the 1st & 2nd week of the month. The Turkey looked brownish (discolored) I also saw so many very brownish melons ? in the fresh fruit! section with too many flies on & around them. No one should have to eat outdated or unfresh food of any kind! Budget or NOT! it breaks my heart to see this coming from a MEGA! Food chain, with already higher than normal prices. ??? PLEASE! Stop doing this!! I will add photos on my next trip!

When I use their machine cashier to buy beer since I have only a few items, I often feel that they let me wait forever to check my age. They don't treat me well. Otherwise, they are actually good.

I enjoy coming to this Giant Location because of the cleanliness, quality and availability of items but nobody wants to be followed around the store because they look “suspicious” shopping in their work uniform(scrubs) and employee badge after working overnight, just reading the ingredients labels. Very unnecessary and uncomfortable shopping experience. ?? This is also coming from an individual with an Asset Protection experience background you can perform the duties necessary to prevent theft without initially treating people like criminals who haven’t done anything.

I've been shopping here since it was a Super Giant. There's probably few people remaining around here that know or even remember what that was. It's always been a good store. Since it was downsized many years ago from the Super Giant to a regular Giant it's a bit on the small size by today's standards, with not as big a selection as other stores, but it also makes it much easier to navigate and get in and out of. The store is clean, well stocked, and the people working there have always been super nice and helpful.
