Very helpful with my camper repairs. They are the experts when it comes to trailers. They were able to give me a quote for my camper when letting them know what needed to be repaired. Recently rented enclosed U-Haul trailer from this location. Employee insisted on hooking up the trailer to my truck. I thought what could go wrong? They work at a TRAILER shop and it’s not difficult. 5 miles down the road and the trailer falls off the receiver and is only hanging on by the safety chains. I’ve NEVER had something like this happen before. Very scary experience as the trailer tongue was swaying back and forth, tugging on the back of my truck and scrapping on the ground. Luckily I was able to pull over and no one was hurt. At first I thought maybe it was an issue with the trailer but after looking at the coupler myself I realized that was definitely not the case. The trailer coupler was never fully tightened and locked! The trailer was clearly attached by someone who shouldn’t be working around trailers or lacked proper training. After realizing the issue wasn’t with the trailer itself, I hooked it back up to my truck and continued to use that trailer for the remainder of the weekend. I towed over 1,200 miles with no further issues. I called to see what Bartley Trailers had to say about this and was told to file a case with U-Haul if there was any damage to my truck. What a joke! This issue wasn’t U-Hauls fault, the trailer was attached incorrectly by a Bartley Trailers employee!

These guys are super nice and go out of their way to assist. We rented a UHaul trailer and had to pick it up at a different location. The pickup dealer did not connect the trailer correctly. Since we bought our hitch from Bartley’s, we stopped there and asked them to check it. Sure enough it was not safe. The guys at Bartley fixed the problem and gave us further instruction. Santa put them on the nice list!

I sent my employee to Bartley's to pick up $2000 in break parts and was turned down to have the bearings packed, why? Then was treated horribly today when he returned for more parts. Robbie, the manager from what I'm told needs to stay clear of customers. Suzanne at the front, vary nice but it seems like she was hired yesterday and doesn't know anything about trailers. The one thing Bartley's has going for them is convenience.

unfortunately after 10-15 min couldn't find anyone to help me so I left. I know it's hard to get help today. but I would try something? even it's a sign with my cell # or just say I'm around. back or I'm busy. or come back in 10 min. if nothing works. maybe you should sell or just close up

I had the most wonderful customer care and service from Bartley Trailers in Silver Spring, MD. I purchased a yard/utility trailer 16 years ago from Bartley and have it serviced every 5 years.Jamie Freeman helped me out this year and reviewed all that I needed and suggested a few new things. I returned to a perfectly updated and repaired trailer with the price actually being slightly less than quoted!Jamie and Laurie were the easiest, kindest and very professional to work with and I look forward to seeing them again on my next trailer visit!THANKS BARTLEY TRAILERS!!!

Over the past several years I've had a handful of transactions with Bartley and I have felt good every time. Some dealings were for parts purchases (along with a little consultation a few times), 1 was for a new trailer purchase and the latest was for a pretty extensive refurbishment of an old horse-trailer. I have a lot of confidence in their shop capabilities. At the counter, both Simyon and Barbara are very knowledgeable, courteous, & friendly Professionals. This is a very solid place for covering trailer needs.
