Horrible customer service. The woman working the counter last evening 8/31/24 couldn't have provided worse customer service. The advertised price for a product on DG's app and website was 2 for $24. I had the coupon loaded in my wallet. The woman at the counter rings it up and I'm I'm being charged $32 for the two items before tax. I asked bout the price and showed her the coupon and the advertised price on my phone. She says to me with a bit of an attitude "That's corporate" (whatever that's supposed to mean?) then goes on to say "They are already only sale". I said so you aren't going to honor the advertised price? She says with even more attitude "I spoken to my manager about this before and our price is what we charge". Horrible service, horrible attitude and a really crappy policy of not honoring advertised prices. I hope "Corporate" reads this and the counter person and the manager get educated on how advertised prices work. Not to mention the other employee outside smoking right by the entrance so her disgusting smoke and odor hit you in the face upon entering and leaving. Do better DG. I'll shop at the store in Pitttsville from now on. The manager in that store is amazing and should give a seminar on customer service to the store in Willards.

Up until March 4th, 2023 it has been a pleasant place to shop.. it just takes one employee to ruin it! Rude, arrogant, talked back with attitude when asking where to find an item, then proceed to throw your items into the bags while giving you the look that says “why the heck did you come shopping here tonight!” Over talking you, following… yes you guessed it.. stops ringing up your order and states that she has a right to stop waiting on you and cancelled your purchased, followed by…”I am calling the police and report a theft”, yes while your friend is holding two bags of items!.. when she started the whole event to begin with..Wondering how long, or if, the corporate office will address this memorable evening .. bigger question is..do they really having working cameras. If so, it’s all right there..It was reported immediately to the corporate office, let’s see what happens ? my bet… absolutely nothing..

We just moved to Willards and I love this Dollar General. The staff is always very friendly / helpful, the store is clean and there is large variety.

Staff is excellent; friendly and helpful. Rarely out of stock of something. Has a $1 aisle of common household items and medicines- in smaller quantities. Walking distance from my home is very convenient. Recommended.

This is among the cleanest Dollar General store I've ever been in to. It's very well stocked the staff is always polite. It is stocked with everything you need for your home, automobile, or just a quick snack. It has products needed to clean your home as well as groceries to swimming pools for the kids, They even have products to repair your home as well as decorate it. A small town Dollar General store that has everything it takes to compete with a Dollar General store many times its size. It is a pleasure shopping there.It has been 9 months since my last review of this location. Wonderfully not much as changed on the appearance of this store. It still remains clean, very well stocked, with a large variety of merchandice on hand and extremely well managed. As I visit this store quite often and another location that is only approximately 4 miles away,(I do this for regional comparison), the Willards location hands down remains one of the top stores I've ever shopped. Far superior to the one just a short distance away. The regional comparisons show stores that are close Are not influenced by the people who live in the area and shop at those stores because a lot of the same people shop both locations. Which excludes the people in the region being the cause of a bad store or a good store again as the same people shop both locations. Comments heard by myself compare quite favorably to this review. As we all know that starts with good store management, and that flows down the chain of command to each and every employee. If you have a great boss then you have great employees, which explains why the store is always in such great shape. As with all new locations there are times when problems arise such as the dairy coolers, that were down for a short period. Repairs for those coolers were handled in a professionally and timely manner , this coming from someone who has experience in that area of expertise. The store hours are very convenient for those who need to get an early start or do not get home until late in the evening. The cleanliness of their restrooms remains superior to some of the other stores and even the finest restaurants in the area. The parking lot is always clean with plenty of parking. Great job to the store manager, assistant manager, and all the other hard working employees at this location, each of which I do not personally know nor am I affiliated with any of them at all. I believe that would have an influence on a review , and I think a fair and balanced review is extremely important.

It was fast and easy to find what I needed, and only one person ahead of me at checkout. The cashier, which was a young gentleman, was friendly, and fast !!
