It's been a rocky road with my John Deere 3046R, and the verdict is still out on whether I'd purchase another. I believe that the newer models have too much 'gingerbred' and this leads to expensive and time consuming repairs. That said, I want to thank Steve at Atlantic Lawn and Garden Service. Despite a frustrating case, he 'steered the course' and maintained his calm demeanor, even when I lost mine. I know he went to bat for me and that deserves a Hi Five.

HOMEOWNERS BEWARE! I recently dropped off 4 small wheels and tires for replacement for my grandsons go cart. Changing the small tires can be inherently difficult without the tire machine. They were done on time and all seem to hold air. I went to check out and the “Manager” told me the bill was $286! Naturally I responded in disbelief. The brand new tires only cost $120! I can have all 4 tires changed AND balanced on my 4x4 for a hundred bucks. Apparently their new pricing put tire work at $135 an hour with a minimum half hour charge per tire! I feel ripped off! Taken advantage of. And more than anything disappointed that I can’t trust my local dealership to be fair to working people. I’ll never return to this store. Shame on you.

Rick, the salesman was very professional. And when I had an issue with my new mower, they took it back to fix immediately. As of right now I will be using them for future purchases.

The female answering the phone put me on hold for 10 minutes. We spoke for a few sentences and as I was still speaking she hung up on me.Follow up: I appreciate the Mgr, Mike reaching out to me. I have not had a chance to follow up with him. I am customer service at my job and I realize there are all kinds of complications handling customers. I was taken so by surprise that I made a comment before I had a chance to process. But that is customer service, right? You get a very short window to impress your customers. I forgive! I will continue to use this business, they are local and I have had great dealings with them in the past!

I bought a $4800 tractor last year. I have been trying for a month to set up a time to get a tune up and blades sharpened. Left three messages. But not worry I found someone else to do it.

I purchased the spring service kit for my tractor over the phone. My card was charged and I was told that there would be a kit there set aside for me when I came in. About a week and a half later my sister went on my behalf to pick up my spring service kit. They informed her that they had just sold the last kit for that particular type tractor that morning. Being that I had already purchased a spring service kit, one of them should have been set aside as it was already sold... She ended up standing around for about 25 minutes while nobody seemed to really be worried about getting her the things that she needed to get. They finally got around to gathering the individual parts for the spring service kit and giving them to her in a box. We double checked all the parts and one of the parts was for the incorrect tractor. A phone call was placed back to Atlantic tractor. They informed me that they would be overnighting a kit for my tractor from another store and it would be there the following day. I was told not to go to the store until they called me as to not create any more hassle and extra trips for no reason. I was also told for my trouble I be getting some of my money back. Four business days passed and I heard nothing. I had to call them, I requested a manager. I spoke with a John. I attempted to explain the situation and all the hassle that had already been suffered for a very simple transaction due to their incompetence and disorganization and I was robbed of the opportunity as he brushed me off and didn't seem interested in hearing it. With a very flippant demeanor, I was told to bring back the individual pieces that we had been given and that we would be exchanging it for the correct kit. And offered me no compensation for the hassle. Upon arrival to the store I was met with a very condescending attitude, and was treated very rudely by the entire staff. I will never shop here again.

I'm in the same boat as a few other reviewers... Dropped off my chainsaw 4 weeks ago and have not heard back yet from the service department. Every time I call, I get their answering machine. Leave a message and nothing... spoke to another department today and he promised me that he would walk down and speak with the service manager personally. Not holding my breath. I think the only way to go, is to just pick up my saw and take it elsewhere...

Horrible experience.. not very professional at all. Ordered a tractor that was at another location in June and didn't get delivered until July 27th also ordered 2 implements at the same time and still have not received them. Which would be fine if my salesman would've been more helpful or answered the phone when called or even in contact with updates. When we did get paperwork done it was all screwed up and I was given the wrong account and had to spend alot of time on the phone with John deere to get it all straightened out since the salesman was incompetent and couldn't handle it. Very frustrating experience and will be looking into kunota for the rest of my needs

I want to thank jeanne, jim, andrew, and cody at atlantic tractor whiteford. They all provided excellent service. They informed me of what repairs I needed on my tractor and made every attempt to make sure that I was happy with their service. Thank you again for great service. I will definitely be back for more service to my tractor.

Atlantic Tractor picked up my lawn mower 2 weeks ago and made promises as to when I would get it back. Today, I can’t even get a call back. Service doesn’t answer. Other departments answer and say they will give a message to service, that goes nowhere. I now have to pay someone to cut my lawn while my tractor and I both sit, and wait… and wait. For a company that just took over in June, off to a ROUGH start.
