What a nightmare! H and J Heating and Air came by our home to fix our AC Unit and what a disaster! They released a bunch of freon from our AC Unit and determined that we need another compressor for the unit. The tech released too much freon, which causes the AC to not cool our house.
Unfortunately temperatures have been really high (feels like 102 to 105 degrees). We are living in a hot house right now. I tried to reach out to H and J Heating and Air several times on different days and no one answers the telephone or returns calls or emails. No Work Order has been submitted to the home warranty company, American Home Shield as of yet in order for a compressor to be ordered and have freon added to the AC unit.
How unprofessional! In the meantime we sit in a hot house. The tech from H and J Heating and Air just made the AC situation worse.

This company is a disaster to work with. We were only referred to them because our home warranty sent them out. They have been out twice now, this will be the 3rd time if we can get them scheduled. The second time it was 4 days before they could fix our broken AC. On their site they offer a 24h emergency service but when you call it says we are calling after business hours, so there is no 24h service offered by them. We are working on getting an appointment with them telling us to go through our home warranty to get an appointment when they told us we have 30 day warranty within the time frame of them coming out. All of this during a heat wave, luckily it's much cooler than the weekend temps. It's just a complete run around with them, with no fix in sight. So disappointed with the service.

Eugene saved the day! We were told by another company that we needed our compressor replaced, along with other assessed charges. We decided to get a second opinion. Eugene came and was very knowledgeable about our heating system. He was able to quickly resolve the issue we were having and explained how to best utilize our heating system for maximum efficiency. We highly recommend H and J Heating and Air!

Eugene came to fix our system. The part was not with him. However, he had a cancelation and came back with the part so we didn't have to reschedule! We were gone when he came back so he called to check in with us and let us know he finished it! Tremendous customer service and professionalism! Kudos!

Worst HVAC company I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. Our home warranty company sent them and actually ended up apologizing to us and refunding our payment. ****UPDATE**** Eugene, really?! Well, it's "disappointing" the way you talked to my husband and me!!! You had no interest at the time to not only do "better"- you didn't want to do anything AT ALL!!!
