They have a wide variety to walk the yard and choose from and if what you want isn’t here they can ship it to the store so you can look at it.
I’ve just started on my journey today and Mike is helping and doing a great job so far. I appreciate him for helping and being straight up with me.

I would say the online process was a bit confusing but all in all from Jessica Newsome at the call center to JC and James in store the process was quick was in at 3 and out at 4 now the CAR was not washed at all I hate white stuff inside the holders on the car door passenger visor mirror was dirty and the car had little scuffs and chipped paint but overall
Nice car Jessica did so good with helping with this online purchase

My CarMax experience at White Marsh MD was flawless, from shipping to selling to buying! Love my new car! Great customer service and absolutely no pressure at all. Sales associate Daniel Macias is THE BEST!!! So helpful, knowledgeable and truly cares about his customers.

This is based on my purchase on Tuesday July 22,2024 with Chenelle Cole (who helped me fill my paperwork out). I purchased my car via express on the website. BIG mistake! I highly recommend you go into the dealership, look at inventory and drive the car before you do any paperwork. My mindset was if I don't like it, I can always return bc I knew about their return policy. Plus you dont really know a car until its off the lot. When I arrived the service was good. 10 mins after driving off the lot I noticed a chip in the windshield.... I called immediately and couldn't get in touch with anyone. After calling 100 11th time a email was sent from an Erin Burke telling me I had to prove the chip was there before I drove off the lot the previous day... Another issue arrived when Chenelle told me about the 10-day return and stated (out of nowhere) I "can exchange the car for another car that's the same price without re-running my credit". Which I loved bc my credit had already dropped -10 points for the first run. So she sold me on that. Fast forward the car a 2019 Hyundai Accent has a few issues and I'm told I'll have to have my credit re-ran to exchange. People that lie for no reason are really concerning for humanity. Chenelle I pray you gain a sense of integrity bc lying about something NO one even asked you is insane!

I can't say enough about my experience at Carmax. This is my second vehicle that I have purchased from them all due to the service of Elizabeth Parker. She helped me greatly in 2016 during a very difficult purchase. With that in mind I pursued her for this purchase also. Her qualifications go above and beyond. Her professionalism and kindness are at the top of my list. Once you select a vehicle Elizabeth makes sure the car is in tip top condition which mine was. The purchasing process goes smoothly and off you go. She also calls several days later to make sure all is well. Thank you Elizabeth.

We made an appointment, got there early, and after we'd agreed to a price following the appraisal, we waited about an hour and a half for the final signing and payment. Hard to get anyone to tell us what was taking so long. Many people were frustrated. I understand it was busy, but we made an appointment and we were punctual.

The buying process was alright and the car runs, but come to find out they sold me a civic that costed the same as all the other good ones but they gave me one with loads of scratches and an unrepairable dent on the A pillar, minor gripe since it works.
What’s really annoying is they said they cleaned and detailed it, the outside was wet when I picked it up but the inside was horrific, I found a receipt from the previous owner, the previous owners documents, soda was spilled all over the inside, there were boogers under the center console in one spot and soda all over the INSIDE of the gauge clusters that cannot be cleaned and now I’m permanently stuck with it.
They told me after I bought it that “it’s fine, it runs. Just replace the whole gauge cluster when you can” that’s a very expensive repair, also isn’t it your job to clean the cars and sell it priced as a clean car? They sold it to me for $24k before interest and all.
For the love of god I worked at a dealership as a retailer before and I don’t wanna pay someone for me to do their job for them. Yall drove it over to me so why didn’t you clean it? Also yall were lazy with the tint, some strips from the previous owner were there and the glue was still on so on hot days it gets sticky and my windows are stuck rolled up or get stuck down. Why????

Initially, my service experience was somewhat challenging due to a lack of communication. However, after speaking with the service manager, Moses, the issues were promptly resolved. I also want to extend my appreciation to Jessie for being communicative and ensuring that I received a loaner vehicle while my car was being repaired.

First off, the saleswoman I dealt with was very nice and very responsive, so my review has little to do with her and more so CarMax as a whole.
I bought a vehicle and took it home only to realize that the hood and entire front of the vehicle had been *poorly" repainted. This was only apparent once it was sunny outside. That's when I found the drip marks. The vehicle was also sold to me with all 4 tires overinflated to the point that the tire pressure light was on.
Not to mention, the vehicle was listed for sale with the sunglass compartment broken and blocking the rear view mirror.
Whoever is servicing and approving vehicles for sale at this CarMax is not paying attention, or just does not care, because I doubt any of this meets their standards.
I had a second vehicle shipped to this location hoping that it would be better. It was not. It had dents and scratches that had been very poorly touched up and would surely fail in due time. The car was also also dirty and has filthy wheels.
This CarMax service department and intake clearly has low expectations for what they present to their customers.

took 4 hrs start to Finnish to sell the van . the appraisal had been completed the week prior . This is an unacceptable amount of time for this type of transaction
