The sales people are wonderful, and always very polite to me. I’m a regular customer because it’s very close and convenient to home. I also appreciate the salesman always carries my bag to my car if necessary.

The Wheaton branch of Montgomery County's liquor monopoly is a rather small store - no beer is sold on the premises, only wine, liquor, and canned seltzer/cocktails. Given the small footprint they offer a pretty good selection, but again, are smaller than most other county-run liquor stores and don't have as much variety as you can find in other locations. Wine is generally cheaper here than at nearby wine and beer stores for identical or comparable products. Current hours are 10-9, with the exception of Sundays which are 12-5. Expect to get hassled by the panhandlers frequently found outside.

Friendly greeting upon entry. Merchandise is typical MoCo, the only US county to control liquor sales. Parking lot is small.
