I’m inclined to agree with the person who wrote the review “if you are brown or a minority you are treated differently”….my 2017 Ford Escape SE was towed there on Wed, September 6, 2023 for a transmission replacement, here it is October 16th and they haven’t touched my vehicle yet! The repairs are covered under my extended warranty and Lindsay Ford has received authorization for the repairs and the warranty company sent the replacement transmission to Lindsay Ford 3 weeks ago and yet my car and the transmission are both sitting there untouched. My service advisor, John Kernan is the worst! I check with him every Monday and a minimum of two other times during the week for updates on the repair to my vehicle, he’ll send me a one or two line text saying “I’ll update you as I get an update”…..how do you repeatedly tell a customer that when u have their vehicle for six weeks? After the fourth week of my vehicle being there John Kernan tells me, “we only have 1 transmission tech and over 20 transmission jobs”, he could’ve told me that when I called him to set up my service appointment for my transmission repair before my vehicle was towed there and I would’ve had the option to have it towed to another facility. I’ve asked John Kernan does Lindsay Ford give courtesy loaners for customers with vehicles in for service? He said he “has a small amount of loaners available for long term repairs but has a three week waiting list for those loaners” yet I’ve been waiting 6 weeks and more and my car hasn’t been touched and then John Kerner told me to reach out to my warranty company about a loaner vehicle…my warranty company will reimburse me for a rental car for up to 7 days while my vehicle is being serviced but they will not reimburse me for time that my vehicle is just parked on the lot waiting to be serviced or waiting for parts. Today I asked John Kernan for his supervisor’s information, he told me his supervisor is Martin Jones at Lindsay Ford, I’ve called Mr. Jones twice this morning, sent Mr. Jones a text message and have sent Mr. Jones a detailed email requesting his assistance and I haven’t heard from him yet! It’s obvious this company doesn’t give a damn about their customers of black or brown color or customers of the minority group. This is the worst experience I’ve ever dealt with at a supposedly reputable dealership in my entire life! I just want my car fixed and returned to me and Lindsay Ford will never have to hear from me again!!Service: Transmission

Worse Ford dealership in MD. First my cargo van safe box was broken into. My wheel nuts covers was misplaced and all the service manager said was Ford don't make them. My truck is a 2020 model. It's barely 3 years old and I already have 3 recalls. I have called and spoken to over 5 reps to schedule a recall service in the last month. I'mtold someone will call me and nobody did.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Avoid this collision shop like the plague. Without going into a very long story, the incompetency of the staff was overwhelming. They at first refused a repair until it was approved by GEICO and even when GEICO approved it they still wouldn't give me my car. I called GEICO to complain, and they said they would talk to the collision center to straighten it out. The collision center then said the car would be ready on Saturday morning, but then called me on Friday late afternoon, telling me the car wouldn't be ready until Monday because the car washer had gone home.I called Monday morning and said I would be there at 11 a.m. They said all was good. But when I arrived, they again said GEICO had not approved the transaction and couldn't give me the car.I called GEICO, and they basically threatened the center, and I finally got my car.Believe it or not, this is the short version!

Poor communication. Went to the service center to have a state inspection performed. When I called for an update they told me the car was ready and when I asked they said there was no repairs needed and the inspection was passed. This was not true and they did not review the inspection report with me before I left or help me set up appointments to get the necessary repairs. Ended up going to a different ford and was treated much better.
