Don’t be fooled that an appointment actually means anything. They just put you in line with everyone else. Arrived at my appointment time and I was no26 in line! Took 2 hours which isn’t terrible I guess, but I’d have preferred to have left the car at an auto place for the day than have to wait around so long. Prices are good but they ought to let you know that the “appointment” isn’t an appointment, it’s a suggestion. Expect to wait 2+ hours.

It is nearly impossible to reach these people. I don’t blame the employees. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. They are just chronically understaffed. I dread calling them because I usually have to wait a half hour before someone finally answers.

These guys need to improve their communication with the customer.
I asked for one brand tire but they gave me a different brand without informing me.
I asked to change Front right tire but they changed front left without noticing me.
When I asked them about these issues they didn’t even say sorry.
On top of that the way one supervisor talked to me it was very embarrassing and I’m responsible for their mistakes.
Worse customer service I have ever had from Costco.

Service when you actually get there is good, but customer service VIA PHONE IS AWFUL. you’re lucky if you’re able to get a hold of these guys. it is nearly impossible to. I tried calling THREE times to schedule a follow up appointment- each time I pressed 3 for the tire center option on my phone, I was rerouted to Costco’s front desk, the call was HUNG UP, ORRR, there was one instance where the guy from the tire center actually PICKED UP THE PHONE, but likely did this on accident because he never actually spoke to me, all you could hear was the audio of him speaking to another customer at the front desk. terrible, terrible, terrible. I had an awful experience. I’m attaching a screenshot with the Costco number at the top of my call log, so yall can see I legit called them three times in a row.

The stupidest people I have ever met. Locked my keys inside the car and now I have to call triple AAA to pop a lock. Idiots!!

"Offering more affordable tire options compared to other places, but my satisfaction with the service was lacking. Despite my 05:00 PM appointment, I was informed upon arrival that tire changes could take up to 2 hours. Furthermore, I requested a tire wear check for evenness, which they forgot, instead suggesting unnecessary wheel alignment for my 25k mileage car (every year). Disappointing experience but good tires with good prices.

I got a good price on a set of four Michelin Cross Climate tires for my 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. Installation didn't take too long, but the tires were covered with some of wax or oil residue that I had to clean off. Went on a road trip soon after and the whole car was vibrating. Took the car to Criswells and they confirmed that both rear tires were out of balance. Costco refunded me for the cost of balancing but in the end it took 3 visits to get the tires right (one for installation, one for rebalancing at the other dealer, and one for requesting the refund.)If you want great service from people who care about you, your car, and your wheels and tires, go to Radial Tire in Silver Spring and say hi to Michelle at the front desk

I figured this was like any other tire shop and since I have a Costco membership, I could just pay them 50 bucks or whatever to mount and balance a tire and wheel for me for my full size spare. They said no. Big waste of time. Will shop elsewhere for tires next time I need them since it wouldn’t have been much trouble for them to just do it.
