This is by far my favorite Costco in the DMV area. Staff were very friendly. Tons of things on sale prices end with .97 or .00. I would come here all the time if it was not so far from where I live. Best prices among all Costco nearby!

Compare to the Costo at Gaitherburg and Beltsville, this Wheaton Costco Tire Center is the best. Hats off to Michael O and Michael P. This is the first time I came to Wheaton Costco Tire Center and my experience is a lot better than the other two. The wait time is not so bad. They tell you to expect the long hour but I sat in and waited. Took less than expected. Mike O and Mike P are the managers that I dealt with. They are very professional, very courteous, and very honest. They explained to me in details my car situation. They fixed the issue I had in my car and very pleased with the result. While waiting for my car I heard people in the line to get their car serviced are from Virginia, Washington DC, even from Annapolis. They too prefer this Costco. My message to Costo and their CEO, please keep Michael O and Michael P whatever it takes to keep them happy working at your Costco Tire Center in Wheaton. We need more of them working for Costco.

This review is based on customer service at this particular location. I was making a small return item with the original receipt and the staff was being rode and went too far on me about the membership card. Very unprofessional and rode I have never had any bad experience at any Costco customer service counter before!

Unfortunate Experience at Costco Tire Wheaton: Negligence and Denial of Responsibility I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the service I received at the Costco Tire Center in Wheaton, Maryland. On October 23rd, I brought my car to the center for a routine tire rotation, and the outcome was nothing short of a troubling ordeal. While performing the tire rotation, the technicians at the center found and informed me that a lugnut and a stud on the rear left wheel of my vehicle were damaged. Over the phone, I told them that I only had the tire serviced at their center before so if there were any damages to the wheel, they must have been the fault of the center. They told me to complete a claim form and seek repairs at a different auto shop. After filling in the form, I asked two staff members and got confirmation from them that I could go ahead with the repair and could return to Costco Tire Center with a receipt for reimbursement. I complied with their instructions, and on October 24th, I had the damaged components fixed by a Firestone shop at a cost of $350. Eager to have this issue resolved, I revisited the Costco Tire Center in Wheaton on October 27th, expecting to have the tires properly rotated and to receive the promised refund for the repair costs. To my dismay, the staff and the manager at Costco Tire Center attempted to avoid their responsibility and dragged their feet in addressing my concerns. They cited the need to review security camera footage to confirm the agreement made regarding repair and refund, as well as claimed that my case required higher management intervention. Furthermore, I was informed that another lugnut and stud on the same wheel were found to be in poor condition, and they refused to perform the tire rotation. It's important to note that I had purchased my tires from this same center in September 2022, and they had been exclusively serviced by Costco Tire Center for rotation. The implication is clear: any damage to the lugnuts and studs must have occurred during their previous service visits. This situation is not only exasperating but also erodes the trust I once had in Costco Tire Center in Wheaton. It's worth mentioning that this is not an isolated incident. In March, the same center caused a similar problem, but at that time, they promptly acknowledged their mistake and refunded me for the repair. While it inconvenienced me, I appreciated their commitment to rectify their error. However, this time, their conduct has been nothing short of evasive, casting doubt on their willingness to uphold the service commitment associated with the tire package I purchased from them. I strongly urge other customers to carefully reconsider conducting business with this center. My experiences have left me deeply dissatisfied, and it is apparent that they need to address their negligence and stand by their service commitments.

Costco Day Joy! The Joys of Costco! Eat well, clean house@ good price. Today's visit: Scored Kerry Gold Butter & Bounty Paper Towels & more. It was a busy Saturday in the store. I went to the tire center to have a nail removed from my rear tire. I also asked for the balance and rotation since I bought the tires there. Everyone was SO wonderful, friendly, and helpful. I was a drop-in service, they said it could take up to two hours, but they were finished and I was on my way home in one hour and ten minutes. I was so pleased. Thank you to all of the crew.

Fourth of July appliance sales I bought a General Electric refrigerator which was suppose to have an ice maker. Upon delivery there was no water ice maker though it was on the manifest. Movers left the refrigerator in my living room and said issue of ice maker would be addressed.After email back and forth, Costco informed me the ice maker was not/not part of the purchase although promotion indicated it was and said a second ice maker was optional.They suggested I order the part and deal with General Electric to install. Uninstalled refrigerator is sitting in my living room.Disappointed costco did not come thru for us.

Understaffed on week end (Friday Night in particular).Lots of self service cash registers indeed, but when you have a cart full and spending $500+ of groceries that is not really an option. Your option then, on Friday night, are 2 regular lanes for the whole store.

I placed a large order with Costco (2 pallets of paper) to be shipped.Order was placed on 8th Feb and still not shipped. The vendor has it in stock. Costco is not giving a straight answer about shipping and have messed up the order. Incorrect tracking # provided. On asking them none of their people can give us a correct I must say that their management has taken a downturn. Looks like they are too confident of themselves. If I was managing them, I would have fired the entire management team.

First time at this Costco and for a Sunday afternoon, it was chaos! Parking here was a mess. Entering the address takes you to a shopping mall where the Costco is located and my first attempt to park was in the garage. The traffic and dodging other shoppers pushing their carts throughout the garage was a mess. I finally left the garage to the outdoor parking area, which was a little better but not by much. To get in to the Costco, you essentially enter in to a mall. Once inside, it was the usual of what you will find at any Costco. There are a lot of shoppers, going in all directions, moving at various paces, distracted with their phones...makes an eventful and stressful experience. I came, I saw, and I learned...to never come back here on a weekend. Enjoy!

My granddaughter's Fourth birthday party was last Saturday. She loves pizza. Costco sells large pizzas for $10! My daughter and I arrived about 10 am. We ordered 6 pizzas at the order screen as we were paying with credit. This turned out to be enough plus some for leftovers! My daughter went to off to pick up a few Last minute supplies inside the store. I waited with a cart for my number #894 to be called. My daughter finished up & joined me. Just then our number was called but it was not to tell us that the order was ready. We were asked if we called the order in?? It had been about 20 minutes. As I continued to wait while my daughter went out to put her stuff into the car & to pull the car up at the front entrance. Then we both waited & waited!! It took 40 more minutes to finally get called back up to the counter! I went up 2 times just to inquire about it. By the time our number was called they were serving guests with numbers in the 930's. The cash only orders done at the counter that were smaller had all been finished! I don't know when they actually started on our order! We left immediately. It was after 11 am and the party had already started. In about 10 minutes we were home. The pizzas were a hit with the kids. I have no clue why people are rating this store so poorly. I've been going there regularly since it opened and have nothing but good things to say about staff, merchandise and prices. If I can't find the item I want at the Silver Spring location, the staff have helped me locate it at another store and called ahead to make sure it's held for me. It's a very busy store because it's such a good place to shop. The only issues I've ever seen were customers talking rudely to staff. I gave it a 5 and stick by that rating!
