Today, I was told by the employerWho’s wear a red hair that the fittingRoom was closed. Another customer asked for the fitting after me, she was able to use the fitting room.. racist much! She doesn’t look like she wants to work..!

Clothes were good, but would have been better if the fitting rooms were opened. they were closed hours before the mall closed. I could have actually enjoy my shopping and would have bought more items . But I was limited to my options still Didn’t understand why the fitting rooms were close if there were still workers on the floor.

honestly i always came here to shop and felt comfortable shopping here until now, the employees were really rude when i asked for pricing like hello thats your job, they laughed at me and i felt like i had to buy it, this was horrible services, never shopping here again, will not spend a dime here not worth coming here from virginia, need to hire more professional employees. sucks that i wont be shop here anymore.

We came in looking for a shirt for my sister. We were looking around for assistance but the girl seemed busy because we weren’t greeted. My sister found a shirt and put her hand in it to see if it stretched. A lady came over ( later found out her name was Gloria ) and told us you can’t try clothes put it back. I said we are buying it she then rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth as she walked off. If I could give customer service a -5 star I would. However , the cashier kat was very welcoming. A simple have a good day goes a long way. I’m not coming back tho.

Terrible customer service. Some workers on the floor are friendly and helpful BUT every time, especially when I get to the register, the girls that are ringing tend to have the WORST attitudes and provide terrible customer service. I hear this from many people that go there so it's a problem that I suggest finding a solution for.

I went into the store to shop for my daughter. I was asked at least 5/6 times if I needed help or needed my stuff at the counter to continue my shopping. I did not. I think the store needed those shopping bags to shop with like the other stores. I needed one EACH time I shopped there. Anyway I couldn’t ENJOY my shopping experience because not only was I constantly asked these questions from several floor clerks. They had Body near me wherever I moved.!llI tried ignoring them but it was quite irritating. I told all floor clerks/monitors I was ok.It was just me, I like to shop in peace . However, they bought lots of static. It ended my shopping sooner than expected.Now, as I stood in line I listened and watched how they gave the customers no CHOICE to receive their receipt. ?????They DEMANDED email addresses from every customer. In order to receive receipts we had to provide email addresses. They literally REFUSED to gv us receipts any other way. They explained, if we wanted a receipt or to return an item we HAD to provide them an email to get a receipt. I imply, “Isn't that a CHOICE???” The registerer responds, ‘No, it doesn’t work that way. I said their shld be a choice we don’t have to gv a email’I already was going to complain on my harassment around the store. THIS was just adding to my list.When it was my turn I used my phone to check out. Nerve wrecking they asked for my email. “So basically it was a bulky tactic ...Ardene is not giving receipts until a email is provided. I don’t do bully to well so here I am writing this complaint, next is corporate.Wait until you read my sisters experience after I told her I wasn’t going in there and I will be going to eat until she is done. SAME day! Memorial Day 2021!

I want to start by saying this was located at Wheaton Mall. My experience was absolutely terrible. The floor clerks were asking several times if I needed help and offering to take my clothes to counter. Which I didn't mind but repeatedly??? I responded 'no' to them all. I like to shop in peace but I had to shorten my shopping because I felt harassed with the same treatment of being followed. They don't offer bags to shop in the store. The idea of leaving my purchases on counter while I finish shopping would not have helped, for I like to mix and match etc. I was annoyed with the floor clerks following. I retired early and got in line. I watched how the register clerks were bullying customers for email addresses. They refused to give the customers a receipt UNTIL they gave a enail address. Isn't that an option??!! I shared the same question to the register clerks. One responded 'No, it don't work that way' huh?! It wasn't one or two they did their whole line this way. My sister met up with me later. I told her I'm not joining her in Ardene. Seem to be 'power tripping'. I went to brunch. She went forth and shopped. Her experience was terrible as well!! Her experience was being harassed not to put her items in the soon to purchase beach bag or leave the store. She answers, 'But I'm purchasing it... ?' The young lady still insist sister to remove the items. ???!!!! My sister went to the register to purchase what was now her incomplete shopping items. After meeting back up with me, my sister goes thru her bag to share a bathing suit purchased. The lady missed a item that went with a set. It was on the receipt. My sister returns to the store and the same lady (Ashley) was still at the register. Of course, she didn't apologize and another employee had to make it right while Ashley sat at register with attitude. Turns out the bottom piece that was forgotten is not there and they do not have the size or the matching pair??!!! Unapologetic Ashley was (which is why this epic complaint is necessary) at the register waiting for the other floor clerk to find something in the back. Nothing comes up. Of course we are furious. It wasn't long ago my sister just left the store. We end up getting a bigger size and as close as mixmatch as we can. Guess what???? We get home and ASHLEY did not remove the sensor! We had already come from a distance to do this shopping and for our girls who are going on vacation. It was on Memorial Day around 7:30pm eastern time. I really like ARDENE store but a few who worked there do not need to work with people.

This is a cute little clothing and accessory shop. Beware, anyone that may be plus size... I don’t think they have a section for that. Otherwise, accessories are everywhere and you should be able to find something in that regard. I found a cute cardigan as well!
