*UPDATE 9/6/2024 - LensCrafters approached my wife through their Customer Service department. They offered to resolve the issue with the replacement of the lenses at no cost as a one time courtesy replacement. Today she had her lenses replaced in her frame. I am changing LensCrafters 1 star I originally gave them to three stars. I did not give them four or five because they continued implying it was my wife’s fault when we continued telling them we take good care of our glasses and this is evidently a manufacturer’s defect. I appreciate LensCrafters doing what they did.*
I brought my wive’s glasses today which we bought five months ago. They had multiple spots on each lens that would not come out. We only use the wet toilettes for glasses and microfiber cloths. We bought the lenses with all the coatings available. After we plead our case, the attendant said that because we don’t have the warranty, they cannot do anything. We’re talking about only five months after we purchased that these spots appeared. The person with whom we talked continued saying, it would be something that we did. My point to her was that we purchased these lenses five months ago with all the coatings available, we spent a lot of money on them, and now they are damaged, not because of us, but because of manufacturer defect. And by the way, my wife has been using glasses since she was five months old. She knows how to handle, clean, and take care of glasses, and all her sets have lasted years or until prescription change. So, if you don’t buy the warranty with LensCrafters don’t expect your very expensive lenses to last long, and live with them if they come with a defect until you purchase your next set of glasses. Needless to say is the last time that I buy from LensCrafters.

I’ve had contacts delivered to this location without issue but the reason for my 5 star rating is because of Sonia. She went above and beyond to assist/resolve an issue regarding my contacts recently which I appreciated greatly.

This was my first visit and conducted an eye vision test and purchased glasses for the very first time in my life. Every employee was quite professional and each one of them provide remarkable services. Especially, Ms. Soraya made my day. She and I had such an enjoyable conversation and she helped find the best glasses for me.

It was an OK experience. They push hard to upsell additional services for your exam, contacts, and glasses. The glasses I had fitted keep sliding off my nose. The two year prescription for contacts is nice.

After having been treated with very little courtesy at a neighboring store eye glass store, Lens Crafters in the Wheaton Mall could not have been better.G reat service, great skills and expertise and they took me on as a walk-in with no hassles whatsoever!

Poor and worst - I ordered a sunglasses with prescription in March 24. They gave me the wrong glasses first, then told me to wait for one more week for the correct sunglasses.I waited for two weeks. Then they said I would get the new pair on April 13, then said April 16, then said April 19. Finally they said they again received the wrong prescription. Fed up with their poor service, I finally requested for a refund. I would never recommend this store.

I never do this but i have to update my review of the retail side of the Wheaton LensCrafters I placed an order for lenses only on 3/8 I was told they would be in by 3/18 or sooner to make a long story as short as possible my glasses arrived on 3/13 I was told on several occasions that they are still in transit, they will be in on the 3/23 so my glasses sat for eight days while each store associate told me a different story fast forward I called another location for help the story was they had an issue with the tech pr scheduling as a customer that's not my problem but if someone would've told me the truth I could've offered some sort of help to get my glasses to me in a timely manner....I called and spoke to Christiana the assistant manager at Wheaton she went beyond the call of duty she was very apologetic and did all she could to help even asking would it be ok to send my glasses to a local location if the lenses needed to be cut but she was able to handle the entire situation with professionalism and care she was the only person I spoke to who actually apologized and tired to tell the truth as much as she knew it's sad it took another store manager from a different location to find out what happen I am truly disappointed in the staff there other than Christiania she's the only reason they got the one star
